Verity (Salvation’s Edge 4th) Encounter Bug
My team has been trying to complete this encounter. We have all of the mechanics 100% correct and even had another player with 15 clears confirm that with us.
We basically get all of our shapes built, inside and outside, everything is looking to be correct. Except the glass does not break and let the inside players out. We’ve proven we can do it too, because the game randomly has let us through the glass twice without changing ANYTHING mechanic-wise.
This HAS to be a BUG. Like i said, we had a player with 15 clears confirm we are doing all mechanics correct, and there is no reason we should be stuck. Is anyone else running into a problem like this?

What astroniox said. You have to collect your own symbols first to dispel a shadow on your statue, then you can distribute to create your shape. Check the wipe screen detail. You can't really see in the game, and that I think is what is confusing everyone.

No matter which shapes you started with, you have to get rid of both of them for them to count for your key shape. Example: Your statue is holding a triangle, and your wall is cycling "triangle-circle". Even though you will need a circle at the end, [u]you need to pass your circle to a different player, and have a different player pass a circle to you[/u]. If you never pass your original circle off and try to use it to build your cylinder at the end of the phase, then the glass won't break. You don't necessarily need to do the "get 2 the same" step that Astroniox mentioned, that's just one way to arrange the swaps so that you definitely pass off both your shapes.

1 返信Verity encounter frustratingly has a hidden requirement to complete the encounter. Inside team must remove the two symbols they are assigned on their wall. The game does not explain this however it is the solution to the real world algorithm that this problem is a reference to. So even if you do shortest swaps, if you kept one of the shapes you need for your wall, it will not work because you did not get that shape from someone else.

You first have to get the 2 same symbols, as you Guardian statue is holding, and then give it to 2 other guardians and then make the 3D shape and it should let you out. Other methods of completing this encounter are not working for some reason

Having a similar problem, something my group has noticed is that entering the ghost phase while a player is holding a shape causes another knight to spawn, and adds another shape inside, meaning the 3 trapped players have 7 shapes between them. Basically instantly locks us out and causes a wipe if someone doesn't deposit quick enough after the ghost mechanic begins to trigger.

Literally the same. Spent over 10 hours in this dumb encounter. This entire raid is buggy but encounter 4 cannot even be completed because of Bungie’s spaghetti code. What did we pay for the DLC for? Can they release anything that functions?
