Outside of the raid, which came after an easier one that came after a harder one that came after an easier one, there's not really anything that appears to be prohibitively challenging for most people. Come on, admit it. There's just stuff in those place that you want and you don't want to do the stuff to get the stuff.
Its also been years now where people keep saying that because streamers or the top 1% completes something, that means it was made for them. That's not what that means.
This. I would be curious to see completion statistics against the active community count to test this 1% claim.
I know, it sounds crazy, but I will go out on a limb and say they are pulling that percentage out of their asses…
Now put your corporate hat on and see why Bungie is looking at getting taken over by Sony. If you’re alienating any player, 1% or not, that means less money (which has been the case since they left Activision) to fund anything. They have Marathon coming out and they need some of us to migrate to that game. They packed almost everything we wanted into this expansion.
The focus on a certain group of people like that just doesn't seem like a good enough argument that things should be changed. Its such a tiny group of people and it just makes it look like people pay too much negative attention to them, which is just not good. And its mostly just more of the negative aspects of everyone being on the internet all day. And a lot of these people are on the internet at work it would seem. "I'm working and this person is playing a videogame while I watch them at work! GAHHHHHH!"
