Hunters can still do almost a million damage in a single super 💀
Titans and warlocks couldn’t poop out that much damage to save their life.

because they generally have terrible survivability, little team support, weaker neutral game abilities, and have few ways to maintain high uptime or create loops of their abilities. The only thing that makes Hunter worth playing in PvE currently is the ability to output a large amount of damage within a short period of time. Titans and Warlocks have to build into this more heavily, and even then they won't match it, because the moment either of them has equal or higher damage output with little effort, they instantly become the objective best class. Throwing Spammer is an obvious example of this. Click one button over and over, and you would never die, and outpace all other forms of damage with 0 effort.

Tahllinavianにより編集済み: 6/9/2024 9:57:21 AMEven if that were true, which I don't agree that it is, I'll humour you. If their damage is significantly higher than the other two classes, it doesn't matter what the other two bring, because in the end, if you kill something really fast, everything else goes out the window. You don't have to damage reduce, heal, cc etc if you kill things far faster than you are damaged. In endgame situations where everything kills you quick anyway, none of that matters, you will die just as quickly as any other class, if you take too many hits. Like I said to another, this is a sign of class imbalance. I play hunter too, so I am well aware of what they have available to them, I just don't main it. I am not asking for nerfs to Hunter, the problem is with too many nerfs to the other classes. This made everyone flock to the only class, that wasn't hit excessively hard with the nerf hammer alongside other buffs they received, you add to this what is effectively a meta defining class exclusive weapon in "Still Hunt" and you get what we have now, Hunter dominance.

TheLastNerfにより編集済み: 6/9/2024 4:24:40 PMthe bulk of Hunter damage comes from supers and the ability to perform rapid weapon rotations, with the neutral game being overall weaker as I mentioned. Also note that most supers and rotations hinge on burst damage potential, rather than sustained. Titan and Warlock can output respectable burst and sustained damage with the right builds, it just won't match Hunter. Recent nerfs didn't hurt any of these builds either, excluding Titan's extremely unbalanced Banner of War. I guess I should also point out that, from the numbers I've seen (not currently available to test for myself), Celestial Still Hunt is maybe doing about 30% more damage than Honed Izanagi's at best, with nearly half of the uptime. Its certainly a strong weapon, and much more ammo efficient as well, but Izi is still the highest burst damage sniper available.

The survivability issue is no longer true. You have Prismatic, which both buffs outgoing damage and buffs survivability with exotics, abilities, and Fragments like Renewal Grasps, Liars Handshake, and Facet of Purpose + Recuperation for mini healing nades on orb pickup. Not only that, but y’all get Access to Facet of Hope witch buffs light abilities against darkness debuff combatants, meaning yall have an even more cracked Goldy on top of your Celestial. So not only do yall have survivability, but you also have the best damage in the game.

You're not very bright are you ? Hunter is the only class that has a unique interaction with it that increases its damage output. Hunter gets two Nighthawk shots that do more damage than all 3 shots combined, effectively, the other two classes do not. That is a meta defining exotic for a class. It's clear that you have done nothing but be inflammatory and butthurt, because you cannot accept that Hunters are very strong right now and the other two classes are classes have suffered. Why does me stating the obvious, upset you so ? I have not once asked of nerfs or any changes to be made for hunters, if merely stating facts is upsetting you, it is you that has the problem. This is the last time I respond to you.

I just think you’re a bit salty Hunters are doing decent damage wise right now and writing whole essays in the hopes they make the other classes supers incredibly strong which would put hunters right at the bottom again but that’s my opinion.

Tahllinavianにより編集済み: 6/9/2024 1:52:41 PMI said "effectively", which means it may as well be, please understand reading comprehension. You're also just flat out wrong, Hunter is the only one that gets a unique class benefit with this rifle that, surpasses its usage on the other two classes. So no it quite literally is not "equal." No other class has such a unique advantage with any exotic. You are quite literally gimping yourself if you are not using Still hunt with Nighthawk, if you want and need maximum effectiveness with that gun. An exotic can take care of clear and you still have something like gunpowder gamble on Solar Hunter, which is a monster of a class right now. The so called "advantages" you list are null and void.

Tahllinavianにより編集済み: 6/9/2024 2:05:55 PMIts more than enough, the benefits far out weigh downsides, if there even are any, I think that's quite clear. Again I'll keep reiterating this, Hunters can still be good without the other two classes suffering for it. If you only nerf things without any sort of buff to underused abilities to balance things out, people will flock to what isn't nerfed and right now that's Hunters. The sad thing is Bungie will likely nerf Still hunt's interaction with Nighthawk or other Hunter abilities before they buff anything on the other two classes and that's not what I want.
