I get where you’re coming from, but it’s more of a utility tool than anything else. Lots of folks associate it with speedrunners who have Traveler-sized egos, but it’s actually incredibly useful. Even in endgame content, it can help you reposition yourself ridiculously fast if something goes wrong.

Even in endgame content, it can help you reposition yourself ridiculously fast if something goes wrong.[/quote] I mean I get that but 9 times out of 10 if you’re about to die in endgame then you’re gonna die, you win some you lose some, but even still if they want to use something that is clearly a bug then it should come with consequence, a little more than dying and being revived or respawning 5 seconds after or wasting a super (of which isn’t necessarily needed to beat the raid and that’s all warlocks are good for), anyone familiar with the 2nd encounter to RoN that’s personally where I get held up most and I have this thing, if you trust the launch pads, they will serve their purpose and you can see it through to the end of the encounter still pretty fast, without a sword I can still finish floors with at least 50 seconds left before wipe, so I think anyone else who plays for destiny 1 nostalgia will agree this would be for the best as like mentioned it will force more people to be focused on learning the raid mechanics

    That’s fair. But I’m not talking about dying, I’m mainly talking about mechanics — repositioning if someone messes up their role can prevent a wipe, which is obviously huge (and does happen fairly often, especially when it comes to the unpredictability of LFG randoms). I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen someone save a run on Annihilator Totems (one example of many) if someone dies on their plate and someone needs to get on it before it wipes everyone.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen someone save a run on Annihilator Totems (one example of many) if someone dies on their plate and someone needs to get on it before it wipes everyone.[/quote] Yeah I get that but no one seems to understand that instead of teaching 1 person to put on a sword to do everything themself, if you teach the entire team and teach them good, you won’t have any screw ups and you won’t need that person to put on the sword to try and save the game, instead tho I’ve been in raids where people who don’t even know what to do are more focused on trying to fly with their sword than learn what they need to do to beat the raid and to me it’s just the gayest thing ive ever seen happen to a game and anyone willing to argue what I’ve said simply use the eager edge themselves which I’ve made examples out of people responding try a defend a bug that clearly wasn’t meant to be in the game considering bungie had to address that they wanna keep it in the game but yet they think that it isn’t fair for players to get abilities back incredibly fast, biggest load of shi I’ve ever seen in my life and is a disgrace to the 1st game they made
