Tell ya honest bungie needs to nerf the sponge of the mobs. The new players are having a hard time on both diffculty.s

For the tanks...a shot with Dragon's Breath right in the head will one shot kill a tank. You can get them both in about 20 seconds and will save you a LOT of time. Just have one person run it, blow them up and switch if you want.
