Trials is going to be on the new maps starting next week so since a lot of people play mostly or only on the weekend this gives them a chance to learn the new maps.
Today's favorite map is dissonance. First it was cirrus and then eventide, now its seriously dissonance. For me personally, that means all the maps are good. I'm sure it will be a different "best map" tomorrow.

People like me that stayed up until 5 in the morning practicing the maps completely destroying Johnny Dayjob. Or heaping helpings of gooey boo boo gameplay to help Johnny survive.

But the people who tend to only play on weekends are the people who tend not to play trials all that much or are the people who dont know 7 year old maps. Private games exist to learn the maps and they couldve kept the mode active at the same time as a practice area. Bungie also showed the map layout in a TWiD and they arent difficult to leanr in the first place, so even people new to the maps wont struggle for long

Have you seen the gameplay that's required for this game to pretend like people are good enough to play trials? If they were just dropped into maps there's a chance they would have blamed the maps and then it would have wasted the maps. Likewise with good players that work during the week and would have had to play with the boo boo engaged. Also, some of the things people complain about really hardcore are really just low hanging fruit to be complaining about and a lot of the people on here come across like they're the baby boss of their families when they pile on with the low hanging fruit complaints.
