Oh no, they made an activity that you don’t like. How dare they not fit all the content around your tastes? They should ignore everyone else and just do what you like!
Content should be made for everyone to access not just 1%, look at trials and how disastrous it was when they pandered to a small group the mode literally died. They had to ask players how to fix it.
It's why video games that pander to small community instead of all the community fail.
It's not 1%.. anyone that can get a bit organised can knock it off.
I've only completed each raid 2 or 3 times and held my own. And we did it without too much stress on the first morning.

Everyone can access and play all content assuming they own the license required. And the percentage of people playing raids is significantly higher than 1%. Pantheon concurrent player population has only just now dropped below the pop for iron banner after being ahead of it for multiple days. Over 100k players have claimed the triumph for completing all encounters of the first pantheon challenge. Considering the less than 1 million current daily players, that quite high.
You not liking something doesn’t mean it shouldn’t exist. The game is not made around you.
