This might look like a very weird or dumb question to ask, but I'll explain the reason for it. I am in step 4 of 5 of the "Where in the tower is Archie?" quest, and to progress in it, I must pet the dog. No big deal. However, I decided to get my "Good boy protocol" tracker up to 69,420 times (as seen in linked picture), before the dog quest was known to be coming. I want to know if petting the dog while doing/having the quest will count towards it or if it won't be added to the tracker count. Finally, if it actually counts towards the tracker, would it be possible to lower the tracker count by 100 (or whatever number is necessary) so the quest(s) involving the dog can be completed and after that deliver myself the remaining head-pats to Archie to get back to that number?
