As someone who uses Quicksilver on s regular basis when running strand, it definitely feels like an outlier. Literally barely any skill needed at all with one of the larger auto rifle mag sizes in the game.
Is 50 percent more micro rocket shots before you get a grenade too much? Time will tell. But getting the grenades feels too easy right now, and you can literally do entire fights with just QS because it's like having an auto, rocket sidearm and grenade launcher in one gun.
Now people will actually have to think about surviving to not lose their grenades as opposed to "if I die, I can literally riddle one beefy target with lead and in one magazine I'll get all my grenades back anyway".
QS needs a little dial back. I'll see how it feels at 50 percent but definitely probably needs at least 25 percent imo.

In my opinion, it’s actually the most balanced weapon in the game, missiles and grenades as well My reasoning is this, for the missiles, I mean they are pretty good at killing adds but you already killed weaker adds, so you target the tougher adds which gives you the ability to kill with the grenades The grenades themselves are pretty okay, nothing really special, as I don’t use them a lot unless it’s a large target, which I could use a heavy weapon for Now, for the idea it’s an add clearer to my left I bring, trinity ghoul you see this weapon does more area off effect then even the forbearance and constantly with its catalyst, being able to proc itself now So what made this weapon op?

It’s the easiest weapon to use. Its current GL shots hit harder than a heavy GL, and the nerf brings it 10-15% below a heavy GL shot. It doesn’t require precision, or kills to contribute to getting its GL’s. All other dual stance weapons have precision or kill requirements, and have a higher risk/reward then QSS does. It’ll still be a goated weapon.

…..I don’t think you’re understanding the wording of the nerf. The “-37.5%” AOE nerf is directly tied to the damage. It’s a simple 37.5% damage nerf. The radius isn’t changed. As I mentioned prior, Quicksilvers GL damage is 95% AOE damage, with 5% being impact. Just look at it as a GL damage nerf.

Ahh I see, well I guess understand it now, just not very simple to understand considering that since bungie is bad with wording Still gonna use the gun, probably not gonna give much of a care with the grenade launcher but aoe damage kinda makes you think it’s damage ain’t gonna be as good with larger groups, my bad

You don't use the grenades for much cept on larger targets....and say it's the most balanced gun in game. The grenades can clear a room of adds and hit harder than special grenade launcers.. not balanced. The rockets themselves with the huge mag size push out more damage than other primaries. How does this equal balance?

Cause I know a ton of other weapons that can do its job and much more? Trinity ghoul, almost split electrons activation causing a lot more area of effect while also being able to activate itself after killing something Osteo striga, they nerfed this thing and it kept getting over 100 in the magazine, so while also being able to work with an exotic like necrotic grips Guess I should add thorn into that list as well as it can get the same affect with necrotic grips and can refill its own magazine after killing someone with the buff and ontop a damage one Verglas curve, able to spam stasis crystals and heal you if you have precious scars and do a ton of area of effect Sunshot, kill everything and everything with being the only 150 still in the game I can keep going with exotics that can do much more then quicksilver

hoaxoneにより編集済み: 4/5/2024 2:04:20 PMYour naming exotic armor combined with other exotics to create the effect a primary can do without a exotic armor to pair with it. Trinity ghoul cannot kill majors with its effect, quicksilver can. Curve cannot one shot a group of enemies without a combo. Sunshot cannot one shot majors. Quicksilver can clear rooms and one hit majors. U have no solid argument

Didn’t say anything about trinity ghoul, that itself doesn’t need anything Osteo, you don’t need necrotic grips to have a lot of area of effect Thorn, you don’t need nee toting grips to have a movement buff or a damage buff that can recharge itself You don’t need verglas to have infinite stasis crystals I put them with exotics not to say what is broken, I’m saying what will surpass it in areas you basically say are what makes it op

You seem to be misunderstanding what I’m saying, I’m not comparing the damage of the grenade, the grenade can get a nerf I wouldn’t care. There is a reason why I pointed at area of effect, im questioning that nerf

Obi-Juanにより編集済み: 4/5/2024 12:24:03 PMLiterally all that's gonna happen is people are gonna continue what they were doing but have less fun doing it because it takes longer to setup. The gun really didn't need a nerf. It requires you to be at a certain range to get the most out of and if not, it's not like getting the grenade shots to hit from a distance is a super easy task, it takes a bit of skill. Very strange nerf. There are many long range exotics that melt from a safe distance that trivialize high difficulty endgame content that aren't being nerfed but this one is.
