Titans have Consecration. Hunters have Throwing Knives. What do Warlocks have that can do the same? Not a damn thing. So I propose that they give us the original OHK Handheld Supernova back.
No, it's not OP. Not in this sandbox. We have less ability energy and the Range is limited. Unlike the other, mentioned abilities above.
So why not bring it back? Why limit the capabilities of a class designed to wield Space Magic?

The throwing knife requires somewhat good angles (unless using Athrys) to get a kill. Consecration takes four years to slam, and it’s countered by everything. Charging a grenade behind a corner then walking up into an opponent for a one shot is too good. But a buff is definitely in order.

I mean it definitely isn’t competitive compared to other charged grenades in Voidwalker; specifically vortex and scatter. However, I don’t think it needs to be buffed back to its heyday (at least PvP wise); maybe if they made it apply weakened or suppressed with the blast it might give it more of a niche.

1 返信I agree but Consecration clunky big melee attack with aoe but long animation time with a small window to potentially ohk. Throwing Knives requires head shot to ohk.

2 通の返信Consecration only kills idiots who arent moving at all. And is basically a 2 shot (with a very long and vulnerable animation) Weighted knives only on precision hits so its not going to one shot that often compared to the number of missed throws. Handheld is basically : charge then shoot it somewhere around your target and enjoy your one shot.

6 通の返信Both the other classes have to wind those attacks up. Warlocks with the child of the old gods have the most grenade uptime already & scatters are consistent as is. Definitely don't need that back

3 通の返信Throwing knives are like precision fusion rifles, handheld is just strait up a fusion rifle. Not really a 1 to 1

2 通の返信I think they should update the aspect that let's you charge grenades, so that it let's you charge pocket singularity as well. Doing so cause it to lose tracking and ability to apply volatile, but greatly increase the damage and velocity, letting you ohk enemies within 8 meters. Then, they could update conversholds to work with pocket singularity as well as grenades. This would be a great way to buff multiple items as once with minimal effort.

1 返信I’d like it back, through there are substitutes. You can achieve a similar thing with Chaos Accelerant+Magnetic Grenades+Contraverse Hold. Scatter and vortex grenades tend to have more functionality.

7 通の返信You have the arc melee with the slide. And HHSN was OP. One shot with a gigantic AoE. Knives have a very tiny hitbox.
-
5 通の返信Yawn… You have that annoying “child of the old gods” nonsense for PvP so the melee is fine in PvP…
-
6 通の返信Absolutely not. PVP needs fewer OHK abilities, not more. On the other hand, any Warlock subclass besides Solar needs a buff, so... Maybe?

HHSN got a pretty harsh punishment. Idc about PvP, but it was fun in PvE until they destroyed it. “We’re gonna give it stumpy distance, and a shorter time to hold it, and a smaller AoE. Oh right, and if you’re too close, you’ll damage yourself using it. You have about a 0.3m effective range where it will kill, but not hurt you.” 😂

Solar Titan Consecration can’t even one shot kill other Guardians anymore (which is a bummer), unless two or more people are bunched up together when u use it or if the lone enemy in question was already weak. All that time spent setting up the damn thing and it won’t even give you the kill anymore. 😭 I guess when Bungie was buffing the aspect, they were also nerfing its usefulness with the PvP health changes. At least my Precious Scars build still works for now (until the nerf crybabies come in full force).

coda-jjにより編集済み: 3/30/2024 3:17:39 PMThe titan one is not great and I think I might of seen 1 person using it last week in trials with 0 success. It can only kill people when they are caught off guard. The knife one in the other hand(with those gauntlets) can kill somebody a million miles away around corners. It’s more op than people realize but with invis and strand still being so strong on hunters, it goes unnoticed
