I like the AR fighting way more than the HC fights.
Plus i think its helped a lot more people engage more in PVP and opened up more skill levels that were crushed when the slightly trickier HC were on top. More people can approach PVP with an AR and be semi successful.
And thats a good thing. We need more people in the crucible to help the MM be more consistent.

I agree that auto rifle allow for an easier entry into crucible mechanics and that in the past they have been somewhat underpowered in a few aspects compared to other weapons, however with how easy they are to use they should not be a weapon that is dominant in competitive, I am not surprised to see autos in quickplay, but a 31% kill rate in competitive trials seems to much for a weapon so easy to use.

Agree to disagree i guess. My aim is good and so is my game awareness. But having an easier to handle weapon allows me to focus on other things during a match too. Plus low skill metas allow for much larger populations. If trials and comp are just for the elite of the elite then people need to stop complaining about the MM and the 3 stack stomps and all that. If you want to chase out the lowbies with higher skill weapon metas its what you'll end up with. Prefiring corners and rebounding shots etc. Its all the strategy that comes with an AR meta. Just like peek 3 tapping was part of the strat with HC. Different weapons introduce different strategies. Just my thoughts anyway. I dont really care too much either way. Ill adjust to whatever the meta is.

Skill level is non existent when people pre fire autos at corners. The lower end brackets have always been auto meta, now it's just everywhere. It's the most 🧠 💀 way of playing the game & is more oppressive than smg meta
