Assuming you didn't have them before when we had to pay for each dlc... having to earn them again in game is not free. There is a cost to time you use. If you don't think so, come over my house and vacuum all day. I'll provide the machine. What? It's "free"!

Wrong in every instance. I paid for it. With real life money and real life time. In the past. The result (gear) of that "investment" was taken away. Now it will be brought back as alleged "free" content but it's not, I just get back "financially" what was paid already. Maybe free for you should you not have played back then but in that case you can thank me and all others who had paid for it already. Not mentioning the new time investment in order to reacquire "perfect" gear from the past and yet again being victim to "RNG" not guaranteeing I will get back my old god rolls or at least comparable ones. It's certainly not free. Compare it to taxes taken by your government. They charge you for your income and on your consumption and afterwards give back a part of it telling it's a "gift/welfare/whatever" cause they are so generous, social and just. Only a fool let's him/herself bereft and thanks the robber.

So you get that content back, and everyone else gets it for free. I paid for the content, and I get it back. My friend didn’t pay in the past, so he gets it for free. Your point still makes no sense. It’s free for my friend, and I’m just getting back what I paid for. Overall, I’m neutral, and my friend is “earning” money.

Wasn’t Recluse and MT free via comp? Also Midnight Coup literally came with the purchase of the game through Leviathan. Sunsetting is completely different. But because the game went free I really argue price anymore because the game is “free to play”

It will be free. When Bungie says it will be free to ALL players, they mean it. Otherwise it’s misinformation and mis-selling of their product, which people can sue them for. It will be free. I know it, you know it. The only reason you replied with that is bc you have no argument to disprove me. And now you’re trusting a lie in that attempt of a response.

Cool. It’s content I paid for, people were complaining about it being vaulted, so it’s being brought back. And people still complain that it’s “recycled, re-sold content”… you need to learn that you can never win with this community. And it’s not even re-sold, that’s the stupid part. It’s literally free, why in hell are people complaining about content being brought back, the same content they ASKED to be brought back? And better yet, it’s free.

But we are not getting back the originals, nor are they better than before. Like Breakneck, best perk combo was Rampage and Onslaught, They took it away, returned it Nerfed, and they removed the Rampage perk on the Sunset version. If anything its theft. I give a 1970 Datson to a mechanic to repair, and all i get back is a Bucket. WTF is my Car!?!?!

They took away rampage bc it was no longer needed. The whole reason rampage was on breakneck was bc onslaught reduced dmg but increased fire rate. And rampage was used to counter-act that. Now they’ve changed it to remove that damage penalty, thus, no rampage is needed. They effectively buffed the original breakneck.
