From what I can tell as long as you make sure you reset it when there's an X its fine. Its really weird though because with this amount of posts saying its not, that means something.

This new card is in part meant to attract players who may have not played trials before, so may not know things like resetting a flawed card. But the way the card is set up, even people who DO know trials stuff might not think the flawed box is relavent

Probably just a little mixup. Most of the people legitimately trying for flawless prior to the persistence card coming out would probably expect to reset their card any time they saw a red X. So they probably just assumed everyone would know that. I thought the thing was broken all last weekend with the posts but some people might be suffering from a bit of selective memory when they explain what happened to their cards.

I thought that might have been fixed by this week. You only have to reset if you down to having no wins on your card. There might be some matchmaking thing or something where they don't want people to keep trying to win on that same card if they can't get on the board.
