I've been able to claim my winner's package every time I've participated in a winning focus activity so far. I know these are going to seem obvious, but just to be sure, I have some troubleshooting questions to try to help identify the issue: 1) Are you completing [i]at least one[/i] instance of the focused activity while it's active? You can only claim winner packages if you've participated in that focus rotation. 2) Was the [i]first[/i] focused activity you completed done with a character of the winning class? The class you use for your first run is locked in as your "pledged" class regardless of what class you use in subsequent activities. For example, if you started as a Titan and later switched to Hunter, you'd still be considered to be participating as a Titan. [i](Note: I am not sure if your pledged class is decided [b]once[/b] at the start of the entire Guardian Games event or [b]independently[/b] for the first activity completion of each focus rotation.)[/i] 3) Did you wait a few minutes after the focus cycle ended? I've found that the package doesn't usually show up until ~10 minutes after the focused activity cycle ends, so it most likely takes a few minutes to tabulate the results. 4) Did you load into another activity after said waiting period? Even after results are announced, I don't get the reward until either loading into matchmaking for an activity or returning to orbit. Hope this helps.

This is something I've always disliked about Bungie. Nothing is clear, they never really say how to get certain things in game. I am constantly going to google or youtube for info that should be in the game and readily available to all players.

i got something each strike and opened it all it gave me was a gold medal.. if that's actually the item im suppose to open it didnt count towards the quest i opened like 20 on my hunter and its still 0 of 3 on the quest idk if its just broken guess i have hunter brain

Not trying to be an -blam!-, but it sounds like you and your buddy just didn't do it right/ pay attention to what you had to do. Say that cause even though people like to give bungie hell, if this wasn't working correctly, they'd fix it, they've done it before. Also, when people do things wrong, they will loudly blame others when they think it's someone else's fault, but they will quietly say they just did it wrong when they are at fault. Tips: just be sure to run your hunter first through the activity when it's focused. Just do it 1 or 2 times. You will get the winner package if hunters win that event. You might not get the point threshold packages cause you have to be on that character and playing when those thresholds are crossed, but you will get the winner package. Talking from experience. Just logged in for the first time today and got another winner package.

When you say you swapped to Hunter, do you mean you played a focus activity with say a Titan first and then switched to a Hunter? If so then that could be your problem. You have to stick to the original class. When it resets, give it a little time and see which class is in the lead and then use that one and play only with that class during the focus activity. Also you must be wearing the guardian game class item. If your class wins, go to tower for about 20 seconds and then go to orbit and the engram should drop into your inventory. I did two in one day snd the last one the next day. It works

I actually got 2 focus packages to drop for Warlock and neither counted towards the skimmer quest. What gives? My medallions were cleared and all should have been good.
