Agreed. The people saying ‘delete stuff’, yeah sure. But then Bungie goes and changes perks and massively buffs things and then you’re like ‘I just deleted that cuz I ran out of vault space’. I’m trying to free up 100 spaces in my vault. It’s a challenge.

Its almost like these cringe nerds sit here in these forums and wait for someone to post that more vault space is needed and instantly have their "stop hoarding" copy pasta ready for it. Its unbelievable how defensive these apparently unemployed neckbeards instantly get when someone asks for much needed vault space in a LOOTER SHOOTER. Imagine calling someone out for wanting to LOOT in a LOOTER SHOOTER. If you clowns want to waste your time by deleting everything that isnt adept and a 7/5 roll, go ahead. Idc. But stop talking down on people who want their time respected. Bungie constantly shifts metas. The once trash weapon might become absolute meta 30 days after. Imagine wanting to waste your time, delete everything constantly and having to chase that exact roll later cause Bungie decided to buff it. Also if you played the game for longer than lets say 2 years, you WILL have massive space issues. I played since day 1 and my vault is completely maxed out with absolute god rolls all the frickin time. Thats what happens when you play a game with thousands of items for a long time. I just dont get why cringelords feel the need to gatekeep vault space in a loot based game. Its not like you need to use it aswell when you are fine with having 3 different weapons stored in your empty vault in a looter. Noon cares. It wouldnt affect you. So stfu. We definitely need more space with all the loot in the game. No denying that. Bungie is just stingy with servers. Cost efficiency. Capitalism wooo

If Bungie made Collections useful then people wouldn’t be as concerned about vault space. Each weapon in Collections should have a tick list of perks that have already been obtained and allow a new copy of that item to be picked up with a curated selection of them. Similar process for armour, but with stats in place of perks.

OP, I want you to look in your vault, at each item in there and ask yourself "When was the last time I used this?" and "Do I really need this?". I thought I was bad with 54 weapons (23 exotics being kept for power level) and 26 exotic armor being kept for stat rolls. But to be to the point of complaining that 600 item capacity isn't enough? You really need to consider what you actually NEED in that vault, because it sure as hell isn't more space.

I just deleted a bunch of items - went from 550 down to 290 and it felt great. That said, I am admittedly a minimalist, and getting rid of things tends to bring me joy… 😂

If your vault is full then you are hoarding garbage. There aren’t 600 good guns in game, and you don’t need 100 pieces of armor. Delete some trash out of your vault

It's hard to tell a players to stop hoarding in a LOOTER SHOOTER especially in a game that switch metas with buffs and nerfs at the start, between and end of seasons to the point player afraid to delete a useless roll just to turn around get a buff and no longer drops I don't blame them I have non sunsetted,origin weapons that no longer drop and was removed from the game entirely that still actually gd To me it can solve my problem real easy Just give me a fourth character slot so I can turn them into a PVP character honestly they should have gave us that long ago

I want a better way to sort. I wish we could sort by weapon type (autos, scouts, pulse, etc.) and between exotic, legendary, etc., and by archetype. That way I could pull up all of my exotic primary pulse rifles or 150 legendary primary scouts, or whatever
