I feel like every single exotic bow that utilizes the hipfire altfire mechanism besides Ticuu's just outright needs to be changed. Why is it that exotic bows have to be hipfired in order to use their alt fire as opposed to just holding reload? There are so many instances where I'd like to just hipfire instead of ADS with my bow and end up putting down my guidance ring for hierarchy, or I waste my stasis crystals on Verglas, or placing down the trap on Wishkeeper. This HINDRANCE of a mechanism is bringing down the favorability for me when using exotic bows. As I mentioned above, I don't mind Ticuu's having that mechanic but hipfire for bows that require stacks to use is just outright terrible and should be changed to a hold reload to equip altfire.

I’m going to agree with this. I find it a bit jarring to be asked to hipfire what i consider to be a long range precision instrument. 🫤. Remember those snipers with hip fire buffs? Instant delete for me. Asking me to use a bow like a shotgun? Have tried a few times but, muscle memory… ?

It's not like an AR where you want to stay in hipfire for an extended period of time. You can swap back and forth between the ADS quickly to aim your bow at closer combatants, just takes some practice.

1 返信i have not had any issues when learning how to use the equipment correctly. It's called a learning curve. Use the weapon to learn how it is used. I feel I have the ability to say this because I have all but 2 exotic weapons in the entire game with their catalyst. hierarchy of needs is my favorite to use for fun. why change all but one? that's saying "i know how this one works, so make everything else work like this". not gonna happen
