Patrols should add increase Vanguard reputation.
Patrols need updated to add reputation to the Vanguard, plus scannable objects, and dead ghosts that have lore should be added and brought back to the destinations, it made the destinations worth exploring and a little less dull. Edit even if you guys agree, I don't think it will ever happen.

2 通の返信Maybe also a set of legendary gear could be added to destinations that don't have any. Europa and the Throne world have their own weapons that drop even from High-Value targets. Even just a few days ago, I spent like an hour or so just roaming around Europa because the Loot from patrol is actually worth going for. If places like Nessus, EDZ, Cosmodrome had their own sets of gear it'd really give players a reason to return.

Patrol in the DC is better these days coz u get Riven rep boost when u do stuff there but it needs to be extended to all zones. I think 5 bright dust should be given for each Patrol completion along with VG rep. If not bd then a chance for an enhancement core to drop. Heroic PEs need to be more rewarding as so many ppl bypass Heroic mode wen possible coz there's no incentive or they're just being numpties. I would award an enhancement core for each Heroic PE completed and twice the xp u get currently. Normal PEs I'd award glimmer only. A greater array of collectibles in Patrol zones to fine like the dead ghosts in D1 and more types of Patrol missions added, particularly in cosmodrome where its only 'kill' or 'kill and collect.' *Edit* We also need equivalents of events like the Vex Strike Force in other PZs for additional activity... rewarded with exclusive exotics unacquired or if all are acquired, a random one drops with high stat rolls. Strike forces can be as follows... EDZ - Cabal, Fallen or rare chance for Taken. DC - Taken or Scorn or rare Hive Nessus - Vex or Fallen (Nessus needs a new Story to reconnect it with fanbase, or a dungeon too.) Europa - Fallen or Vex Moon - Hive or Fallen Cosmodrome - Hive or Fallen, rare Cabal STW - Hive or Scorn

C0LONEL MUSTANGにより編集済み: 2/29/2024 6:09:09 PMI agree with this post and I'd like to add that one of my biggest pet peeves with Patrol is when areas are locked behind shields/doors simply because they are part of a campaign mission, strike or "Adventure". Adventures are not even in the game anymore and neither are some Strikes!! A good example is the EDZ. There's so many areas blocked by a large fallen shield for whatever reason. Even Titan had some areas that were only accessible during a Strike. It is called "Patrol"... How can I explore the destination to its full extent when there are areas I can't even access? Even if these areas aren't anything special, I think they'd make the world feel a bit bigger. (Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way about these areas lol...) Either way I think there are some good ideas in the comments of this post and it would be cool to see Patrol get updated a bit. I agree with OP Also, I think World-bosses would be cool. They could be kinda like High Value Target events in D1 but maybe harder to kill and drop better loot???? idk :p - The Patroller [spoiler]Oh, how I miss patrolling on Titan...*sniffle*[/spoiler]

That would respect our time, would reward us for doing stuff on planets and would open the door for us to play solo for vanguard rewards. Thats too rewarding and too beneficial for the players enjoyment so wont happen with this dev. Bungie loves wasting our time, forces us to matchmake with others to gain rep and is stingy with rewards. So id never expect this to happen. Sadly. Because imo the planets itself serve ZERO purpose outside of the story missions. Sadly because its wasted potential. I personally enjoy roaming around on planets more than running 10 year old strikes with 2 randoms who can either be killstealing annoyances or be afk and hinder my progress.

How are they so static in a live service game? - Have the Fallen capture one of the Cabal injection rigs so that you fight a random assortment of Fallen instead of Cabal during the event - Have the Cabal capture some Fallen Glimmer extraction tech and fight us during a glimmer extraction event. I could go on, but you should be able to think of things on your own. This doesn't need to operate in the very static way it does now. Procedural generation is desperately needed in so many activities.

The locations should continue to be updated just like anything else. Lore based things are a good idea as well as anything else that focuses more on exploration or possibly blends that with some amount of fighting.
