Same situation for me. Played Friday morning, attempted to launch Saturday and get the same error you encountered.
"WIndows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
I am on Windows 10, do not participate in windows insider. Nothing seems to work to fix

I'm in the same boat. Can't play. Tried a number of different fixes but nothing works. I'm on the most recent public release of windows 10 and the xbox PC app, for what it's worth. Haven't made any changes and things were fine as of yesterday.

Same issue here, also have a friend experiencing the same. Tried moving game in the xbox app then tried full windows wipe/reinstall everything was working fine Friday night. also not part of the insider program (running windows 10)
