  • It actually is pretty useful for special DPS. It actually outclasses supremacy for damage, so I’d consider that pretty useful.

  • If you reread my post you'll note that this roll triples Uzumes mag and doubles superclusteters mag and that's all free ammo, not from reserves like supremecy. Then consider that about 1/3 of bosses are vehicles and Deconstruct gives you a 40% damage buff vs vehicles. Then you can pair these weapons with DOT exotics like anarchy, dragons breath, or witherhoard and double dps. So if your farming bosses like Templar or taniks then this would be useful.

(honestly curious) Because if so, then why aren't we running around with Wardcliff one third of the time like in the good old days of Strange terrain where a vehicle-coded wizard would get nuked within seconds?   • The reason we don't see wardcliff used that way anymore was because of coding bugs which caused rockets to treat boss level vehicles like major level vehicles and bypass boss damage resistance. Generally if it doesn't walk on 2 legs its coded as a vehicle. As for numbers: let's say Uzume deals 10k crit damage, now let's say you have a 4th times + vorpal role and you land 4 crits in a row then 2 more because of 4th times. You'd deal 69k before reloading. Now 4th time + deconstruct would deal 60k with those same 6 shots, however, deconstruct would have procd giving you a 7th shot which if a crit would cause you to deal 70k damage this shot would also proc 4th time and give you 2 more shots. In the time it takes to reload your vorpal roll you should have landed 2 additional shots with the deconstruct roll. So you'd be at 80k, before your vopal roll started dealing damage again. Ultimately it comes down to sustained dps vs burst dps. If your using it vs a champion, then the damage perk would be better, but if your using it vs a boss with a long dps phase like Oryx, Atheon, Taniks, the GM fallen walker from devils lair then deconstruct would be better.
