Losing players leave almost every match, then the match changes. Connection craps out and the replacement player(s) streak to the top of the leaderboard. The game that we were winning by 25-30 pts when the losers left, goes to a loss by 40 or mercy.
You are lucky to get 1 in 3 games where the connections are fair. Not shot around corners. Not two tapped by 140 HC or two burst (Yep, I said burst even though not pulse) by a 450 auto. You actually see your opponent before they are in your kill cam.
"CBMM" takes longer to find matches. "SBMM" takes no time at all most of the time. CBMM matches are a toss up on quality. SBMM is a -blam!--show.
I am "allowed" to win 1 in 4 matches or so, the rest of the time I am carrying 0.2, 0.4, 0.9 teammates.
Somehow Comp/Trials connections and matchmaking are even worse! SIX players total, and you haven't got a clue how to do it. WTAF??
I dare you to release another PvP game. Especially as a $4B company- without dedicated servers. I have the clips ready to fill a new YouTube channel. It'll be called "Bungo PvP- Money For Nothing" Some of the bullshit I've seen in this game over the last ten years. As I've watched my KD go down with each passing season. D1 was better at 30fps than this "improvement of a sequel". Crossplay because you can't find 12 players on the same platform. But match finding takes longer than it ever has.
But it's the PvE that keeps players coming back. Osiris season, game almost dies. Lightall season, game almost dies- story is a turd. PvP is the only thing you have that changes when your story and/or story telling dies. But you decided not to make money off it and let it go down the toilet.
Oh well, what do we know? Buy more shaders at Eververse and you promise you'll make PvP better right? Hell, I had more fun writing this post than I did in my play session tonight. I guess there is at least that.

PvP is in a really rough state right now. “Casual” crucible was always my go-to in this game, especially at the end of the season when everything else felt stale. Now it’s hard to keep that grind going and stay interested.

PvP is a dead mode, and it makes things worse knowing PvP is a free to play mode. Billions of gamers but hardly anyone enjoys destiny PvP. Bungie allowed gambit, and PvP to die, while somehow making vanguard ops worse. Such an easy fix

1 返信The rep of these clowns is that terrible, that they had to mention having dedicated servers planned for marathon. IN THE YEAR 2024. Thats so embarrassing. Dedicated servers have been the standard since like 2003. Yet these clowns are stuck in the halo xbox era with p2p. Nothing significant will change for this games pvp. Its written off for good. Took them 20+ years to decide to go with the time for their upcoming game finally. And they are even proud of that. Unbelievable what we are fine with...

I should not have to sweat my orbs off in a game of quickplay just to keep the score even. Nor should I be getting 4 kills in a single round of trials where my teammates have 0 across both of them (yes, this actually happened, and we lost the round too. Even after reviving dumb and dummer before I finally died, taking two out with me.) If I’m the only one putting in work on my team, you can bet all of your best gear that I’m heading straight to orbit to find a different match.

3 通の返信Sucks but PvP is just getting worse by the season. I’m not the best player in the world, but pre 3.0 I ran crucible a bunch. Played a fair amount of comp, went flawless a good handful of times. The last two weeks I’ve tried playing trials again and just…wow. The team balance is so lopsided and there’s so much cheese. I lost like 10 games straight, and I’m not a blueberry. Most games feel like an absolute steamroll or your teammates are killing them selves on purpose or leaving the game, or just playing like they have duct tape over their eyes. I hate what they’ve done to trials. It feels miserable.

Always has been a shame to bungie. If they hired me to direct the PvP team destiny would be as popular as Fortnite, cod, and apex. They would be making more money, which results in less delays, $10 season passes, and not having to sell dungeon keys. But hey they’ll just keep making everything else more expensive instead of investing into PVP and bringing in millions of new players. Bungie devs are awful

2 通の返信It's not a pvp game it never was or will be, bungie has proven they can't do pvp by themselves. Halo succeeded in pvp because they had 343. After they left Bungie went down hill.

9 通の返信It’s because if bungie turns off sbmm (which they should) then all the Jim’s and Tim’s will cry about how they play sweats which is not true they are 0.5 bots a dreg can beat them down with a stick. Sbmm has always been the issue they need to scrap it and ignore the 0.5 bots who barely play in the first place.
