I kinda agree on what is said
There are so many different ways to do damage but on a lot of different activities even if you Solo you still have to use the well of radiance or you're going to get ran over like it's no tomorrow.
I would like to use other methods to do damage but the game is set up in a way that the well is going to have to be the super you're going to have to use.
Now I know there are some builds you can use besides well but it still depends on the activity you are in that will depend on what you have to encounter during the activity.
I found this interesting and thought that everyone should take a look at it and see what you think about what he has said about it.

5 通の返信Of course Well is “too good” bungie designs content around players using well of radiance for literally anything. Maybe if other classes/subclasses got half the survivability as well than it would be an entirely different story

3 通の返信ㅤ Avvorにより編集済み: 1/13/2024 3:41:44 PMAt this point the bigger problem isn’t wells strength but how certain encounters are too heavily built around wells use This could possibly be fixed but a lot of hold encounters would have to be retroactively changed but easy enough way to fix it is having boss encounters where when dmg phase starts your not being shot at 20 times a second

This statement regarding solo content is one hundred and ten percent false. Well is in no way, shape, or form a mandatory use for solo content. That would also imply that running Warlock is necessary for soloing content snd it most assuredly is not. 2. I personally don’t care what a subpar player and content creator thinks of Well lol. In almost a decade of playing Destiny I’ve never heard a single solitary soul utter the words, “Born to Nova, forced to Well”. 3. You can do pretty much all content without needing to use a Well (and yes that includes GM’s). However in certain situations it’s ease of use and straightforward nature just make some encounters far simpler with less effort needed so of course people will take the path of least resistance. 4. The issue isn’t that Well is too good, it’s the fact that a majority of the other Warlock supers are just bad and not worth using. Not to mention Well simply outshines all other support supers in the game currently. Warlocks have some great builds for solo/group play but Bungie really need to give their supers some love and attention.

Solar and void warlocks can survive on their own Hunters can survive on their own not as well as warlock and titans can Warlock wells are the team play not needed but optimal... Heals, damage buff, orbs created to charge everyone, slap epitaph on with div or gally n warlocks are my favorite teammates.

Well of Radiance is only mandatory for a Solo Warlock if you let yourself believe it to be as such. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

It’s strong. No one is like hey get a Voidlock to add to the team. As a Warlock main I could care less if they nerf Well into the ground as long as they give us something OP to keep Warlocks viable.

1 返信It's not that well is too good, it's that other subclasses don't have good set ups without specific exotics. Like an Arc Warlock can do well and survive master/gm content but only if it's using Vesper of Radius.
