Let's discuss the hatred for Titans.
PK's (Peace Keepers) just got nerfed.
This is the bottom line.
Because we officially have nothing left.
We are being done DIRTY, Titans.
Are we supposed to be rendered USELESS???
WE LITERALLY HAVE NO PVP EXOTICS NOW!
The ONLY thing Titans have been getting since early 2021 are NERFS!!
And don't even THINK about mentioning a PvE buff! This is about PvP!
I'm gonna talk about some examples below, so continue reading.
-In a nutshell-
We went from having an infinite, OHK-ing shoulder charge, to a USELESS MELEE ABILITY THAT GOES AWAY ONCE YOU USE IT, AND DOESN'T OHK, AND CAN'T BE USED FOR SLIDE-SHOULDER CHARGE SHOOTING ANYMORE.
Shoulder charge is on all 3 light subclasses!!
So those classes as a WHOLE are useless because you have to use GARBAGE MELEES!
ARC - Ballistic slam got nerfed too.
Tell me, who's gonna wanna THUNDER CLAP a guardian??
SOLAR - NOBODY wants to use that stupid bonk hammer, that ALSO got nerfed for some reason. Consecration is barely worth a mention.
VOID - The shield toss is garbage. Period.
And other than THOSE abilities, you have shoulder charge.
That does NOTHING now!!
Doesn't OHK, can't be used for movement anymore because decent players used it for movement so now it's CLASSIFIED AS MOVEMENT BY BUNGIE AND THE REST OF THE COMPLAINING HUNTERS of this community.
And you can't get sliding gun kills with it anymore. Cool.
This forces you to have to use strand or stasis AUTOMATICALLY, for us PvP-ers.
I had to switch to stasis myself, which is ALSO trash. The super on that class is TERRIBLE.
-EXOTICS-
Now that the base abilities are out of the way, let's talk about the exotics!!
DUNEMARCHERS caught one nerf.
Fair, I suppose.
But WAIT!!
They got nerfed AGAIN!!
No chaining radius, PRACTICALLY no damage.
They might as well remove the chain damage as a whole at this point.
SYNTHOCEPS got it's melee range removed, which was the whole point of that exotic since the beginning of the game.
Now you get extra HANDLING when you're surrounded!! 🤣🤣🤣
Woahhhh, so cool!
PEREGRINE GREAVES got a PvP nerf UNBELIEVABLY!!
NOW you have to hover in the air for like FIVE SECONDS for your OHK shoulder charge!
As if shoulder charge isn't bad enough, they nerf the only exotic that helps it.
And not PEACE KEEPERS!!
Reduced everything it does by 50%???
Are you CRAZY bungie???
(I could name so much more, but us Titans are already aware of every single nerf that happened, and I don't wanna write a whole book here)
To sum it all up, Titan is a JOKE right now.
The ONLY exotics we can run in PvP are Dunemarchers for movement, or One-Eyed Mask for a cheap overshield.
Which is ANOTHER exotic that got nerfed like 5 times or something.
Hunter seems to have MANY things to be viable in PvP with, Warlock coming in 2nd, but less things than Hunter.
Titans have been NERFED into the GROUND.
...well.

You really haven’t realized how absolutely busted peregrine greaves are outside of pvp. Sure it’s only against minibosses , champs and tormentors but think for a second and you’ll realize you actually get to instantly kill almost any of those… It’s especially busted in gambit because you can instantly kill large blockers and the high value targets and any other minibosses that show up. As for champions, what champion? I instantly killed it at full health with peregrine. Not sure it works in a GM but if you’re running directly at a champion in a GM you’ll probably die anyway. Peregrine greaves are actually hilarious right now and are in a perfect spot.

9 通の返信Jezus christ ... Ever heard about bubble titans and trials ???? You titans were constantly spamming barricades for an overshield and use bubbles to capture a point . No gunplay , just hide and wait behind the barricade/bubble usually with a shotty . 😑 You summed up everything except this , yet i only see bubble titans in trials . Who tf cares about shield throw ???? 🤣🤣🤣 You cannot be serious ?

I have 800+ flawlesses in trials, I play it every week and titans are still on top since void 3.0 then arc 3.0 and now with void and smg's again. Free overshield is just too good. Barricade still deserves to be nerfed as much as strand clones.

1 返信I only play Titan, and while I’m not bothered by these changes (even though after all these years, why change PK now?) I gotta say you’re forgetting what I think is a significant buff: AC/D Feedback Fence. Doesn’t make up for all the other BS, but that’s been my go-to exotic the past few seasons for crucible. Titans can’t have nice things. Hell, no class can have nice things.

Peacekeepers will continue to be good as long as SMGs are the meta which hasn’t changed. If you really think Titans are going to be bad after this, you’re not smart. Throw on one eyed mask and stop being dramatic.

20 通の返信How ever you feel right now, Warlocks have always had it worse. The fact Titans are receiving nerfs is because Bungie took risks that class with buffs. Titans have been unkillable, DPS monsters in PVP and PVE content. Warlocks are routinely an afterthought and relegated to “the support class”

Frequent overshields on demand for you and your teammates is not balanced. I’ve always had a hatred for barricades, they slowed games down and are just annoying to play against. Other than bubble titans dominating trials, I don’t really have an issue with them.

13 通の返信Lol nothing left. Bro ive never fought a titan who didnt have an overshield. If hunters had one eyed mask there would be riots . If stompees jolted everyone we would have riots. Titans are the fastest and also the strongest and also the tankiest. What in the world are you complaining about.

2 通の返信I remember when I started playing Destiny 2 five years ago, everyone played Titan, one-hit melee kills everywhere, apes everywhere. If you heard someone running towards you, there was a 100% chance it was a Titan coming to kill you with their melee ability or with the balanced shotguns that ruined the game for years (and still continue to). And now it's no different, in PvP you rarely see a match where 70% of the players aren't playing Titan, and unfortunately, it will always be like this because Titan has the strongest kit for PvP, you don't even need a strategy to use it. The ones -blam!- suffer are the PvE Titans who had nothing to do with the mess, but since Bungie is lazy, they nerf on both sides (hello, Citan's Ramparts).

8 通の返信You ever wonder why you guys keep getting nerfed you guys flat out kit way too overwhelming in pvp because your entire class accel more in PvP then PvE even majority of your exotic shows it but I blame Bungie for this though keep turning the class into a brawler when it could be way more then that Titans class in general needs a complete rework

6 通の返信That's what you get with Destiny PvP. Hunters will never be the weakest, Warlocks will never be the strongest, and Titans are either played by hardcore Titan mains all the time or people who switch when they're strong. You know, like during the One Eyed Mask reign of terror.

Titans were the most ridiculous class that had entire modes created around them in PvP for a year and a half to two years. All those adjustments just make it sound like Titans are going to be Destiny characters instead of Titanfall characters again. The list of "nerfs" shouldn't be able to be that long or all you're doing is making everyone else's point for them really.

And for the record, we do have things other than PK’s, which I didn’t even use. PvP Titan exotics: Dunes, Armementarium, Synthos, Abeyant, OEM, HoiL, and Ashen Good PvP Titan abilities: Norm Barricade, Void Barricade, Strand Barricade, shoulder charge variants (mostly for movement but sometimes as an actual attack), knockout, ballistic slam, Hammer of Sol, Thundercrash, and bubble (if your opponents don’t know its counter) I’m not saying Titans are broken (other than Arc. -blam!- arc Titans), but we sure as hell aren’t a weak class. And to say all we had was PK’s is a blatant lie. Don’t be like Warlock mains, talking about how they allegedly don’t have anything when they absolutely do. We should be better than that. Edit: I get the frustration, but to say we have nothing is crazy. But if people are going to agree with this post, I’ll add one thing to not look like a pure contrarian: The nerf to the throwing Hammer’s accuracy was and always will be bs. I had a niche thing going on with it in pvp, and it was taken away for no reason despite solar titan being considered a bottom tier subclass in pvp.
