They're broken.
Edit: In PvP not PvE. They're fine in PvE.

1 返信Bows are fine, wishender wall hacks are pretty annoying. Bows are still probably going to get nerfed though since every streamer cries about them.

1 返信Wishender and Lemon 100% need re working in pvp. Hot swapping needs to be readjusted yes. But anyone who says legandary bows need a nerf is a 🤡 "Wahhhhh bows do to much damage" yet none of you sooks account for draw time. You can get banged by many wepons in the same time it takes to draw and shoot 1 arrow. Bunch of cry babies who have never used bows.

2 通の返信People who complain about a bow are the same ones who can't hit their sniper shots. People thinks using a bow is easy when in reality if you miss your first shot it's a disadvantage. Ever since bows was introduced the skill level it takes to use one has grown with every meta shift and bows are just anti meta at this point. Coming from a bow user who constantly goes flawless almost every weekend with one (usually top of the leaderboard) just practice and either get better dodging or shooting to counter a bow.

While it can be annoying to deal with the strat of swapping from a bow to another primary, I don't really know what Bungie could do to tone them down. Adjust the aim assist, maybe? Eh, whatever. I'll stick with AoS/Eyasluna + Frozen Orbit for a little while longer just to see if I can learn to outplay strategies like that in Rumble.

1 返信Yeah, they're a joke. Bungie nerfed weapons thst were not half as bad as bows are. The worst is players using bow/hc for the swap and kill. Absolute garbage weapon.

7 通の返信NotCreative123により編集済み: 12/23/2023 5:38:55 PMNot really. 1) Hard countered by snipers 2) Threadlings counter them 3) They are countered by any primary weapon when they are in the open (so they have to be used behind cover) 4) They have a charge time, but don't instant-kill 5) You have to move slowly when the arrow is drawn 6) The player has to choose between a way to deal with aping players (close range gun) or a way to clean up kills (long range gun). Either way leaves a ton of space open to take advantage of. 7) Unforgiving. If you miss, you're probably going to die. 8) Difficult to push with one. Now, on the other hand, I DO have some issues with bows. Namely, the unintended lag between getting hit and taking damage. When you get hit by a bow, especially Wishender, you don't take damage for around half a second to a second. It is EXTREMELY important to know whether you've been damaged, so this is an unintentional boon to bows. It should be fixed. EDIT: If you're talking about Checkmate, then you're probably right about bows (because Checkmate is unbalanced af and sucks). However, in regular PVP, they're fine as they are.

Have you PvP heads never considered playing a different PvP game that has fixed weapons for the sake of your mental health lol? PvP will never be balanced in Destiny. Too many additions too many factors at play. Nerf one thing, another thing comes into the spotlight everytime

Bows should hit for 85 to the head. Yes i said it. Bows have infested pvp for way too long now and the only fix for them would be a reduction of the optimal ttk. Aim assist needs to be nerfed into the ground aswell. Literally everyone can hit shots with them. Zero skill involved. Wallhacks for wish ender and the le monarque tick damage that delays recovery for 20 minutes are enough of a benefit already as is. Why make them a two shot at all circumstances aswell? Completely unbalanced weapon type for pvp.

The damage should be reduced but not THAT much. Aim assist should get nerfed though, they are WAY too sticky on controller and their magnetism is crazy. Otherwise, leave them alone. They are more annoying to fight than legitimately powerful.

Generalized statement that vastly overstates a problem created not by a lack of skill, but by some suddenly overpowered weapon class that is terrorizing an entire community. The original post is then made to be more specific by a pseudo scientific breakdown that seeks to describe why it’s only a couple of weapons that are the problem, not the entire weapon archetype. Infinite ammo sniper rifles has got to be my favorite all time description of bows. Every time I hear a person use it I can’t help but think that they have never shot a bow. I can fire 3 sniper rounds in the time it take me to fire one bow shot. Long story short skill/ego problem that’s highlighted by a game mode and map issue. If you had special ammo you could easily counter with grenade launchers. Maybe that’s why people are also screaming for fighting lion to be nerfed again…🙄🙄🤡.

Every day it's nerf this nerf that from the PvP players. Nerf autos, nerf scouts, nerf sidearms, nerf shotgun etc. repeat. You guys will never be happy.

I know how and agree how you feel about bows being a bit strong. I still don't think they should be nerfed HOWEVER If they need them it should be a slight range nerf where a headshot go to 98 dmg to the head, after the nerf
