My Theory is that Bungie loves the Hate, as its easier to acquire then Love. because Love requires Time, Care, and Actual hard work, were as Copying and pasting, and rising Cost on everything is just easier.

 • Except hate doesn’t bring in revenue and that makes no actual sense for a company that is only supported by this single product. It’s simply a misguided attempt to rebalance costs because of legendary shards being removed from the equation. While ignoring the fact that the glimmer cost already caps the amount of weapons you can focus as that is hard capped.

 •
Except hate doesn’t bring in revenue and that makes no actual sense for a company that is only supported by this single product.
Apathy doesn't Bring in Money. For Bungie, when they hired Behavorial People to make Destiny addictive as possible banked on people who end up hating the game, would stay out of Addiction. Bungie sees it Hate no different then to Love, the People who Hate are just as passionate for the game as the ones who Love it. What's an Easy way to get people to talk about your addictive product? Hate. It flows faster and reach's ears faster.

 • The 45% revenue decline from apathy wasn’t improved by the hate wave after the subsequent layoffs. You’d rather believe a conspiracy than just accept that the management at Bungie is just delusional in thinking it can actually recover goodwill because people love Bungie?
