I’ll be the one to say it.
The adds and difficulty are simply too much.
Not gonna sit here and play this BS, just to die while playing the seasonal story mission and have to start the thing over.
I’m so fn busy trying to take on adds I can’t even get anything else done. Just to run out of time before I can hop in the light to cleanse myself.
Good job bungle, this will be the first season I won’t complete.
And yes, I’m not a GREAT player. So what.

It’s not that I can’t, it’s just become something I don’t enjoy and just don’t look forward to.

1 返信Agreed. That mission sucks. It has me so upset that I am seriously thinking about abandoning the remainder of this season's content. I did the same thing about a year ago, and I might do it again. Increasing the difficulty is NOT fun. I already hate The Coil, let alone having to deal with some hectic weekly mission, too.

9 通の返信I’ve seen posts like this a lot lately, and I think y’all need a reality check… “So what” you’re not a great player does not make sense. Your skill level matters. If ya play casually, expect to compete at a casual level. One day, spend an hour making a REAL build. Use D2armorpicker to optimize your stats, and go to YouTube if you need to for a build. This game is really easy, there are a lot pve games out there that are ACTUALLY hard. There can’t just be an endless cycle of catering to the worst players out there because they struggle, the game would be an absolute joke if bungie did that. Take some responsibility and work on getting better and using better builds and strategies. One thing I will credit is Bungje’s style of making things difficult can be frustrating, with constantly spawning ads in to shoot at you. It’s not that creative. But, we have 3.0 subclasses now and a lot of exotic armor buffs so you should be able to figure it out.

Not criticism, just putting in suggestions: If Warlock, Voidwalker/Tommy's. Honestly, Exotics up to you. I went Controverse Hold when I tried it, but honestly didn't really feel like I needed it. Tommy's and Devour are an absolute beast, and super fun in PvE. If Hunter, Nightstalker/Gyrfalcons and any Void Sword with Destabilizing rounds. Long story short, DRounds, Gyrfalcons and Stylish Executioner is the same as running Spectral Blades while still having Shadowshot. Lots of explosions, constant devour and constant invisibility. For Titan, Berserker/Glaive/ACD Feedback Fence. Honestly, doesn't even really need to be Berserker, but even after nerf, Banner of War is a nice perk to have. I usually opt for Winterbite, but you could go any Glaive. Even Vexcaliber is pretty legit. Constant DR, Constant flow of charged with light, lots of stabs and explosions. Just some ideas to make ad clear easier while maintaining decent damage options.

Handful have complained the seasonal activity is too hard. So it’s already been said. It’s been said every season for years. Problem is most players don’t view seasonal content as too hard to play. There’s probably just as many players saying it’s too easy and should be harder.

You are better than me, at least. Only season I ever played was Hunt. That story line with crow was so loopy I couldn't follow it and haven't done any since. I just get the pass stuff and maybe craft one weapon and I'm good. I tried my hardest to solo that mission at the end of seraph for the ship but kept dying. After an hour, I lfg'd that crap and got it done with 2 blueberries. Used that ship once.

2 通の返信I agree, but in a different way I think the content has been adjusted to try and contend with the great builds that players use. These builds have things like built-in healing, DR, AoE, Burst Damage, and other utility If a player creates a build that only has access to one or two of these factors, they're going to have a much tougher time in content that attempts to account for players who have a build that has access to three to five

Nah.. the problem is that everything is nerfed and boring. The content itself can be fine/great/perfect but it won’t matter as the core of the game sucks. Coil is pretty good, not too hard, a platinum run feels like it’s actually worth it (unlike literally every other activity). The game is just boring to play overall.

5 通の返信Not great? Calling you a noob would be giving you too much credit. You gave up on the seasonal story mission because you died? I had some halo buddies start D2 this season, they cleared that solo with white and green gear. Like where do you people come from? But go ahead. Vent away.

That said though, what sort of weapons were you using; something for add-clear, a hard-hitting power weapon for the bosses/various yellow-bars, and maybe something for close encounters like a shotgun or glaive may help. Just suggestions, I have no doubt others could make better recommendations.

1 返信Also, if you have discord I am more than happy to send you all of my build set ups. Feel free to copy all of them, I dont really care if you run the same stuff that I do. My builds very solid. Maybe there are better ones out there but mine are definitely effective. The the other part is just how well you use them, but thats up to you.

1 返信Any sort of build will solve your problems almost immediately. The mission you are talking about you ran on your Titan. Your Titan has double primaries and no exotic armor and not the best mod setup. Stay on strand Titan, use banner of war, equip tractor cannon, synthoceps, and a one-two punch shotgun and the game becomes a cakewalk.
