Have you considered that there are plenty of whales that will buy it on day one rather than wait until later in the season to buy it piecemeal? That's exactly how the fortnight sets were sold, and yes, I know several people who bought those sets for silver upon release.

What does that have to do with the alleged "blatant greed of Bungie?" People impulse-buy and it's Bungie's fault? If you don't think the price is right, don't buy them. One thing has nothing to do with the other, you just seemed to want to sling barbs.

Bungie doesn't have to sell so many overpriced items in EV. And maybe you missed the part where they used to sell those sets for BD at a later date but don't anymore. I paid $100 for Lightfall and all its included content, which is fine. But Bungie is well known for their ridiculous EV macro transactions, among others. Maybe you need a refresher: - season rank boosts - event card upgrade - the starter pack they were selling but pulled due to massive blow back from the player base - and of course, we can't forget about the new lights. Want to get into D2? The Steam store has over $400 of content (mostly years old) much of which overlaps with itself and is so confusing to anyone who wants to get into the game. Are you foolish enough to not recognize the price gouging and predatory sales of this last point? That is all in Bungie's control. Again, all I'm asking for is the option to buy the set with BD, like they used to do.

So don't buy it then. You, along with so many others, seem to consistently overlook the part where [i]it's all optional[/i]. I'm not foolish in the least and here's why: If I want to look like Geralt of Rivia, I'll play 'The Wild Hunt.' Anything that comes along in Eververse that I want, I'll wait until it's available for Bright Dust or I get it from a Bright Engram. None of it does anything to alter my game and therefore isn't a necessity. These things aren't new practices, contrary to what people want to believe Bungie didn't invent them, and plenty of players apparently still buy them. No one [i]has to[/i]; why you'd insist on making a fuss about this escapes me.

Optional or not, the simple fact that these micro transactions exist is the problem.

It starts a conversation and if enough people agree, that brings about change. If you don't agree, say your piece and move along.
