Please explain how you're supposed to kill them when they've healed to full by the time you're done reloading?
Reload when you stun them, swap to weapon that does damage, swap back to auto if you don't kill it on the first stun.

Jvp is correct. One tip to add to this, use autoloading ARs. With an autoloading AR, once champ is stunned I switch straight to DPS weapon and then switch back to an already loaded AR to reapply stun. Unfortunately, there aren't many autoloading ARs around.

I have a gnawing hunger with 84 reload speed , takes a sec to reload . And there are so many other AR's with fast reload speed .. Why would you replace an increased reload , stability , handling and/or damage perk for an autoloading perk that takes more than a second to reload by the way . You cannot shoot your auto rifle , quickly shoot a rocket or whatever and switch back to your "fully reloaded" auto rifle . No , you need to wait at that clicking sound and that takes like 3 sec . And those 3 sec are enough for the overload to teleport away and start recovering his health . An overload needs constant damage from that overload gun , especially in harder content like a GM for example .

Yes but it can be a pain as well and throw off gameplay if you're not accustomed to it. The autoloading takes ~3 seconds to complete, if you switch to the weapon before that 3 seconds is done you will find an unloaded weapon that you now have to manually load, or switch away from again to have it autoload. Once you're used to the 3second delay you will switch just in time to keep the flow going.
