How long do you intend to play this season?
For me I'm already burnt out. It doesn't feel like a lot given we are waiting 6 months for something new.

ODSTrooperにより編集済み: 12/1/2023 4:28:17 PMI played only a little so far and have yet to fully finish the Week 1 quest steps, but when I have more time to play by the middle of this month I'll be much more active. With this being a much longer season I expect I'll finally get around to doing a lot of things I held out on like solo flawless Gotd and other dungeons including the new one, finishing collecting patterns for a number of raid weapons and earning a few exotic catalysts I'm missing. There's also a bunch of seals I still want to finish off as well. By the end of this span I'll probably play somewhere in the range of lvl 250-300 in the season pass but if I managed still over mid 220s for just s22 it could be much higher.

I’m thinking the whole season: Run the season events. I’m saving the Coil for a few weeks. The Bow and its various iterations Builds, lots of changes this season Guild my Conqueror Whatever special events Bungie comes up with. The Dungeon 😺

If something does not drastically change, this season is a hard pass from me. This season is my deciding factor on buying the next expansion, this is the first time I have not pre ordered an upcoming expansion since D1 beta. I usually buy 4 at a time for me and my 3 sons who don’t live with me. My sons threw in the towel last year and haven’t returned. We play Diablo4 together now. The decision making from bungie this year has left me baffled.

I’m going to mostly wait until we’re on week 10. That way all of the challenges will be available and everything I do will count towards them. Then I’ll start playing through all the story and what not. The only outliers will be possibly playing the dungeon on day one. Then checking back each week to see what the EV has for bright dust because I am done giving Bungie money for anything in the EV. The Final Shape will be the last time I give them any cash, and even then it’s not going to be until the expansion goes on a decent sale.

Depends on how long the weekly story is. I’d like to run some Crota since I only did it once last season and I’d like to do my Touch catalyst run but it’s so hard to find enough people among my clan/friends group to run those things now. That being said, with no new exotic armor, no updated older raid weapons, adepts still not feeling worth grinding for, and no QoL update to the dungeon reward system….. what exactly am I expected to be excited about?

maybe try the dungeon, maybe not. i haven't bought the season though. the hr long mission that was added and gives 7 or 8 rewards, now that looks like a time investment not worth doing. repeat activity 4 times in a row in one sitting to get the rewards basically.

1 返信well played one round in riven lair no weapons drops again everyone wants to SPEED RUN -blam!- . . I think I may just call this a loss and jump in another game see how they respond in about 2 months .

Plastered all over the places. I can't help it sorry... ...and sometimes even in a cult in the basement.

Honestly it's still too early to say, but I'm personally cutting back a bit since this is going to be very long season. I'll play about 2-3 days a week while content is dropping, maybe 1-2 days a week once there is a dry spell, just to keep from being burnt out. May farm the new dungeon depending on how good it is or if the clan is getting a raid together, but I doubt I'll be guilding Conqueror this season or reaching rank 11. No rework on Garden of Salvation weapons put a massive damper on my desire to play this season, and clan mates are still not online like they used to be last year.

Depends on what the seasonal quest steps are and how repetitive/ how much of a grind they are. Will have to also look at the seasonal pass rewards. See if anything worth collecting. Didn’t finish last season rewards or story, so likely won’t this season.

"Where the free 30th anniversary that my mind conjured up?" All these people are expecting a lot of free. I don't know what else to say. Some people maybe should be given a pile of bright dust or for some of them a physical plaque for buying a ton of stuff from eververse in secret in secret. I mean like the true supporters , which wouldn't include how much I've spent. I would be nowhere near. I guess people should be wanting stuff? That's good isn't it?
