I was a player that wanted harder content, but you guys dropped the ball. Just slapping a light level cap on everything is a lazy way out. Slapping down builds with heavy handed nerfs is lazy. I can understand toning down the outliers and high end builds because they are extremely difficult to keep in the game since they effectively break it. But nerfing things like bonk hammer when only a VERY small minority if players can actually effectively use it to melt bosses is ridiculous. Also if abilities are such an issue. Oh idk maybe add in new and unique enemies that have ability resistances, or maybe have an aoe that slows ability regen. Or maybe give certain enemies disruptor rounds to slow ability regen when the player gets hit. Give suppressor grenades to more enemies There a whole list of things you can give enemies in the HARDER content that doesn't need to exist in the easy content. Also slapping light level caps on regular strikes is lazy and a large reason I finally quit the game. Trying to artificially inflate player engagement time by making strikes take a minimum amount of time is BS. I'm glad i didn't preorder and I'm glad I've dropped the game. I might log in to grab the last of my freebie stuff after the scam you guys pulled with lightfall, but I'm NOT pre-ordering final shape. Serious changes need to be done unless you want the death of Destiny to be with its final expansion

This is going to be the start of the death Destiny. Some say it has already happened. But here is where it will really start. Changes that should be implemented are not being implemented. Making the game harder and harder and it's because of 'player skill level'. That's the truth. You're crapping on you're casual players and those who aren't that great at the game. You're basically telling the player base you don't want casual players or people who aren't that good at the game. Bonk Titan was a great beginner level thing for new players and casual players alike to play with because it was easy to understand and beginner friendly. Now you take that away. Devour and restoration on warlock and bonk titan helped with survivability more than the nerfs you implemented to the game a while back. Devour has consistently been a good survivability for warlocks. Hunters can go invisi. Titans shield bashes everyone or throws their shield around like they're Captain America. Or place it at their feet giving them and their allies an overshield. Now you're taking the away the best thing going for warlocks and you crap on it. You crapped on Bonk Titan. You crapped on Void Warlock. This season you really crapped on Hunters with the nerf to Young Ahamkara Spine. You're going down a road where your community is begging you not to go down. Implementing nerfs is not making the game better. D4 did that last season in season 1 and look what happened to them. Sure they rebounded with season 2 but towards the end of season 1, actually midway through, their player count was so low, the game was becoming the most disappointing game of all time. What are you doing Bungie? Are trying to get rid of all the fun? You're not making this a game anymore. You're making it feel like a job. When manager sees you having to much fun on one specific thing, they move you to another. That's what you're doing. You're taking what people consider fun, and throwing it out the door and running it over with a lawnmower laughing the whole time. Destiny 2 is already in a bad state and literally drop this. It sends a clear message to all of us, you simply don't care if we have fun or not in this game. We're surviving too much, you drop this basically saying 'you're surviving too much. We need to die more. I'm sure it'll be fun.' Whoever approved these changes, that's who should've been let go. We're tired of being tired. We want to enjoy playing Destiny. Nowadays, we click on it, and we ask ourselves 'why am I getting on here? There's nothing fun to do in this game anymore. Everything that was fun, Bungie nerfed it to the ground.' What's the point Bungie? Where are you going with these nerfs?

I feel at this rate you are intentionally trying to lose players. I get you want the game to be more gun focused, but that's not how the game has been for a long time now as guns usually deal the damage of a toothpick to a military tank in most difficulties and everyone just uses ability spam like bonk hammer or Strand Titan melee spam with banner or something like that. Now you are butchering a key part of the game just because people are having fun? As for the Well and Bubble cooldown increase, we all know that is from PvP so why are you hurting us in PvE? There is no reason for any of this.

Do you guys actually see the amount of things your nerfing by hitting the orb generators that hard? From zero second CD to 10. Didn't even try like 3 or 4. Exotic armor like Star-Eater scales: Nerfed hard. Into the ground, tbh, with no changes to compensate. All Supers, at least their CD, nerfed, due to less orbs. Tons and tons of fragments based on collecting orbs of power nerfed. Armor mods, that you directly nerfed, nerfed indirectly here again. Like, if you were gonna nerf orb generation, maybe hold off on nerfing the ability energy orbs can give back with the mods? At minimum, the orb generator needs reverted, or at least cut in half, considering the other ability generator nerfs already in this patch. At maximum, things should be done to compensate the nerf to orb generator. Fragments that rely on orbs should be given extended duration (think devour or Woven mail fragments). Exotics that rely on orbs should get more charge. Things that I'm sure will be addressed 8 months from now or something. Just terrible, terrible patch. I haven't pre-ordered Final Shape. I won't be pre-ordering Final Shape.

So long, thanks for all the fish. Uninstalling tonight. Thanks for making the decision easy for me after trying so hard to be interested in this game again and the next season. You won't be seeing a dime out of me ever again, and I won't support any titles you produce in the future.

-people use abilities even after we nerfed them into the ground, so to compensate we are nerfing them harder to make your experience more enjoyable. -players survive in our content so we have decided to make them less survivable. -stasis was alittle weak so we made everything else weaker too, enjoy. bungie are a company run by trolls at this point. they also most likely don't want players to play their game.

Wow, a lot to unpack. So many nerfs, the most challenging of which are the suitability ones. The game is not hard enough for the top 1% of players so just make it harder for all the rest of us. This my take at least. Key question: [b]Do these changes make the game more fun, accessible, engage and empower players so that they WANT to play more?[/b] My way of thinking is that PVE needs to really be a fun and engaging experience. One that encourages players to come back over and over again. When players have fun they invest in the game. Time AND money spent by players go hand in hand. Players who have fun return, invite friends and spend money on what they enjoy. My wife and I enjoy cycling, road, MT bike and a little gravel, we have thousands of dollars worth of bicycles in the house. Countless hours of enjoyment fueled our expenditures. If we hated bicycling together we would not have spent the money.

Seriously, Bungie, who hurt you? A normal person can clearly see that nerfing things is NOT the answer to attract players who are leaving the game already in huge numbers. Why keep digging the hole deeper and make things worse? Playing destiny to most of us is to feel powerful and achieve glory or at least try. At this point, you've already nerfed the game so hard that it's become a joke, and possibly soon, a meme "How to kill a good game? go ask Bungie". This whole mod setup is such a faff, people play to have FUN(emphasison on FUN, please go back and understand what this means to most of us, NOT to the one or two of you!) We dont want to get confused trying to figure out what bloody mods to use, or change after every shitty little nerf. By you keep nerfing the game into the ground(by now, it's nearly 6 feet under) It just pushes people away real hard. A lesson I guess you'll never learn. The simple things are, the more they will be used. Sad... Rip Synthoceps... we had a great time. I dont think I'll be buying the Final Shape anymore.

I'm soooo tired of you guys nerfing. Actually, the better word is "fatigued". You learn to play the game a certain way, you make builds for it, you find fun, and you guys come along and start throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. You prove time and again you really don't know what you're doing with this game. I don't say that to be an -blam!- or to be mean, but just be objective. You guys really don't know what you're doing, and that's why it's fatiguing. It's becoming more and more difficult to play this game because let's face it, it just isn't as fun anymore. Sad.

Wow, that’s a lot of nerfs. You took the problem, looked at it and did the exact opposite of what needed to be done. The core of the game [b]SUCKS[/b]. And you’re making it [i]worse[/i]. Nothing short of a complete 180 in design philosophy will lead to a Final Shape purchase at this point. What a shame.
