Doesn’t need to be an anime. Plenty of western animation examples that they could follow as well.

What western animation would you recommend to compare with anime? I’ve been into anime for a very long time and really never found any western animation that didn’t feel like it was made for 8-12 yr old. Genuinely interested not trolling

Another example would be invincible. Animation style doesn’t dictate the intended audience. The content of the show does.
