I do agree with you about content creators bashing.
6k people lost their jobs in the gaming industry this year.
Nothing.
Not a peep from them or from people who play their games.
Not even when Epic gaming let go of 900 people.
They played the games, made content and didn’t care. Like half the people that post about it here.
Bungie lays off 88 people and it’s Armageddon.
The only reason they made videos about it was they know how gullible, reactive and uninformed a lot of the D2 community are and would get lots of subs.
There were content creators that never make videos about D2 that jumped on that bandwagon in between making their Fortnite videos.

You don't understand the main-problem and talk like layoffs never get negative feedback. Like... nobody is talking about it. But that's in fact wrong. I think I don't need to post some links. I mean everybody with google and some brain can find more than just "nothing" about layoffs from epic etc. . The online community is never happy about that topic. 🤷♂️ The problem isn't about the layoffs themself. It's about "when". It's the worst time to make such a decission. They set a sign with that decission, in a time the game struggles as hard as D2 vanilla did back then. Bungie can't do something like this in a time like that and expect no pr-drama.

I feel for the 6k people in the gaming industry that were let go this year and even more so with the massive profits that were made. And no none of the massive layoffs got the attention that Bungies garnered. So post all those links screaming outrage all year. Post links to those gaming communities screaming boycott. Not basic coverage of it but the same type of anger and outrage. How many people here that are posting negative garbage about the layoffs play games from companies that let go of thousands this year? It’s crocodile tears from most of the content creators and none set up any type of charity for those who were let go. So they profited off it by making quick clickbait reaction based videos but in all that outrage no charity. It’s was even more absurd to watch content creators that don’t cover D2 but made videos due to it being profitable. They’ve crawled back into the woodwork now. But yeah they’re outraged after getting those subs lol.

It’s the truth and based in n facts not speculation. Seems like certain players want to cherry pick things to reason toxic behavior. It’s sad that some just want to watch things burn due to the personal unhappiness they have. It a game and should be fun not taken so seriously as if it’s a life choice.
