This Iron Banner is showcasing why demanding wins for progress is crap
Teammates ignoring the objective to play Deathmatch (and losing).
Class and weapon inbalances.
Poor matchmaking.
There is so much crap outside the player's control that determines whether the player wins or loses. The focus on Triumphs and titles--at least for Iron Banner and quests--should be on [i]completions.[/i] It's not Competative. It's not Trials. Wins can and should count for more, but losses shouldn't deny your players progress. It is disrespectful to your players' time, for even PvP gods play like mere mortals every so often.
P.S. Yes, I've posted about this before. I'm doing it again, because I'm being denied progress through conditions beyond my control and it's [i]frustrating[/i], even moreso because it doesn't have to be! It could be better!
I think people are supposed to enjoy playing and then just whenever the wins come that's when they get points. It doesn't come across as something where everyone is supposed to eat up as many points as possible as fast as possible and that's what means you're good.
