Only speaking from a pvp perspective, they’ve butchered the game by introducing things that no one asked for. That started with making trials of Osiris dominion based only, of course bubble titans dominate that. And the devs did not think this through that supers that take longer than 8 min basically became useless in trials unless u run 100 intellect or get almost all the kills. Secondly, they introduced the perk called target lock. Regardless of the weapon or it’s type, target lock is broken and should’ve never been introduced. It’s take no actual skills to hold down a trigger, but I get it, the devs at bungie are lame. Lastly, they ignore to address bows in pvp, along with small dck players using QuickDraw hand cannons to cheese it even further. As a developer, I know it’s not hard to lower bow damage in pvp, but I know that’s never going to happen since bungie devs are mostly gender confused folks. They’ve done a good job at killing the game.

34 通の返信Target lock is absolutely not the problem you paint it out to be. The perk isn’t “hold the trigger down” it’s stay on target flawlessly without missing a single shot otherwise your damage buff resets to 0%. Target lock has a very minimal impact on TTK, even under ideal circumstances.

3 通の返信The biggest thing that has hurt PvP is the class 3.0 system. For some reason they decided to double the utility of almost every ability in the game

5 通の返信Toxic elites crying about space magic in a space magic game…. The biggest mistake was caving and nerfing things like stasis… that was so much fun and shutdown the shotgun rush play style preferred by try hards … of course they cried and cried because they couldn’t adapt Also the ridiculous aim bot levels of aim assist on controller doesn’t help the experience

1 返信Trials. The fact that bungie has to cater pvp so people that play for money can continue. Bungie this needs a nerf, ok nerf that because the Trials streamers need an easier path for their job. Bungie the competition is too hard in trials, ok we'll rig matchmaking so you can have easier games. Gjake is the only pvp streamer worth a damn. Like summit 1g said, pvp will never be good because bungie listens to the wrong people. If you complain about destiny pvp being hard you're not a good pvp player.

It’s the lack of love for it,the executives are evil people and the developers tend to be really bad at the game,I think they should get the top players to the studio so that the game can be modified to be balanced. They could even ask people who play things like apex and valorant.

For me the main things are.. Matchmaking/lop sided teams I played trials on Monday and I literally predicted every time who was gonna be on the opposing team. Scrub guns For me there is way to many scrub guns such as jotun, witherhoard, vex, fusions etc etc All the crucible labs they have done and not one where its just kinetics/primary only, no heavy, special or abilities. There is also other things but these 2 are the main ones for me.

1 返信I would say the decisions by management killed PVP. And they had a developer that really screwed everything up. PVP thrives by having a large player base. Now that crossplay was opt-out, rather than opt-in it's gonna be hard to get people playing again and attracting new players.

2 通の返信You know what killed several aspects of Destiny? Social media and influencer streamers, thereby alienating the real player base. Lightfall is the pinacle of this mistake, and look at all these 'influencers' rambling bullshit about Destiny and Bungie these days. An honest mistake I see happening in my industry as well, which is killing manufacturers.

12 通の返信I thought it was time for the PvP players to rejoice at the new direction that part of the game seems to be taking. How bout at least we don't go with the immediate "not good enough, not good enough" because we can see how that turned out for the sbmm everywhere and onlywhere group.

No it isn’t hard to lower bow damage in pvp, but bows don’t deserve to take 3 shots to kill, that would be then significantly weaker than every other gun. Bows already had a significant disadvantage in a 1v1 as their time to kill is garbage. If you need their damage, the passive camping play style will be the only viable play style for bows. You will literally make the problem worse.

2 通の返信1. SBMM. 2. Lopsided lobbies/poor lobby balancing. 3. Lack of support. 4. Lack of new content. 5. Lack of innovation. 6. Seasonal meta shifts as opposed to lasting balance. 9. Valuing the feedback of streamers over the average, daily player. 10. Designing the game for the extremes: Trials being ripe with exploitation, casual modes catering to the worst, least experienced players.

3 通の返信Nimuneにより編集済み: 11/14/2023 8:29:50 PMThey started catering to casuals by introducing sbmm, airborne effectiveness, more ways to heal and get overshields, and nerfed stompees. Also as mentioned in other post here, forced win/loss ratio and bad lobby balancing sucks the joy out of pvp. Now they're on their way to trash it even further by creating Destiny 2 year 1 teamshot meta again by forcing checkmate to many modes.

1 返信What killed PvP? SBMM, garbage team balancing, forced win/losses and overall neglect for PvP besides the nerfs that come out of it.
