Yes I could just wait for a while and try again, but I shouldn't have to. Match making should stop that from happening.
The match making in this game is laughable.

Those that made flawless in the past and those that haven’t. Flawless players shouldn’t be feasting on teams full of newbs. And newbs should have a chance at the lighthouse against their peers. It’s not hard. Problem is, flawless players just want an easy stomp. So Bungie give it to them. It’s by design.

2 通の返信I matched players in the flawless pool although I was not flawless... While my team mates clearly were not flawless either ... The enemy team however ... Clearly was ... If you check on destinytracker, most of the matches are already decided statistically. I've had games where the enemy team had a 99% of winning by statistics alone... You can imagine how those matches went. I had 3 single players on the enemy team all in plat and diamon elo, while my whole team was silver and bronze trials elo ... The balancing and matchmaking are total and utter crap ... And I would look over it if the connection quality was good, but don't even get me started on that ...

Trials matchmaking is absolutely atrocious. I’m getting matches where trials report predicts my loss rate is 100% guaranteed. Several games it’s 90% chance I was going to lose. Nobody benefits from a system like this, you can’t “get good” out of a system that ensures you’l have a zero percent chance to win.

4 通の返信It's real fun when your last three games on the card has your team 3v1 some poor sod, then you get to be 1v3d the next game, and the final game has you face people who live in the Crucible while your team is stuffed full of PvE superstars who can't help but deepthroat a shotgun every round.

Yep! Agreed although I got a couple flawless in solo over the weekend. I coulda had at least another 2-3 if the matches where at least more balanced, on my flawless game my team was 3 solo vs a 3 stack and another time was basically the 3 best in the lobby v the 3 worst in the lobby, both my team mates where 0.7 kd and the other team where all guilded flawless or glorious with multiple flawless that week, one on my team had never ever even been flawless ever….

I think, in general, it’s always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine. You should not be able to match the same team within 2 or 3 games in Comp or Trials. Period. It’s just not in the spirit of competition. In any tournament (which is what Trials effectively runs on), you don’t win/lose in a bracket and then have to face them again the very next game (excepting some specific scenarios with loser’s brackets, which still won’t be back to back games 99% of the time). I’m usually the kind of person who will benefit from facing the same team over and over again (pretty high tier player and can adapt even to teams I may have lost to initially). I just think it’s stupid from a design standpoint.

We're having the same abysmal bad experience. A evening with the guys in trials quickly become a trash experience. And the we go to comp, and right away we're having more equal and fun matchmakings. We lose some and we win some. But overall we're having fun. Trials is trash atm. Even as a solo player too. But as a fireteam it's -blam!-.

6 通の返信The biggest problem is that they took a smaller player pool and split it into 3. They will never be able to balance pvp unless they separate players by how many years they've played
