Dungeons are part of the expansion if you buy the deluxe edition which also includes all the years seasons, and its for less overall money.
Seperately it costs £40 for the expansion £40 for the seasons and £20 for the dungeon pass, while together its £80 for the deluxe edition.
You just bought the game in the more expensive way.
Also before anyone says i know not everyone can spend all of it at once but you have a year to save the money you need to buy it all at once.

The price is irellevant, it's the whole non ethical money making scam that's the issue. If I buy a can of vegetable soup, I don't expect to buy a can of broth and have to pay extra for the vegetables. The game should be one price with all content included. And considering the shameful mess that has been released from Lightfall onwards, the price should be lowered considerably. Why are they charging more for poor content anyway? The game was much better before the massive payout from Sony, yet it's got worse. I recon they're creaming the profits from the Destiny faithful to plough into their new ventures, and I hope it blows up their faces.

Except games have been giving aditional content for years. Destiny is a live service mmo which releases extra content for a price. Warcraft is the same, you get the game and you buy all the other content. Just accept how games have become becsuse honestly the price isnt bad and its not extortion or a scam.

I shouldn't have to spend an extra $40 for a dungeon... The dungeon shouldn't be sold separately at all! None of the previous ones were and they need to STOP selling them separately because it's complete BS.

If you want to, you can pay 20 and get 2 dungeons but you don't have to.

Dungeons have been seperate since the 30th anniversary. Dungeons are not $40 either. Dungeons were only included when they didnt really offer anything (pit gave nothing but xeno, throne gave nothing but wishender and prophecy gave nothing but a set of armour) Maybe they would be included if they were only a mission for an exotic but they give actual content now and honestly if you want it buy it, if not then dont buy it.

Dungeons are $20 each, there are currently 2 dungeons that are not included with their associated DLC expansions. To get both of them would cost me $40 which is the same amount I spent buying beyond light, the witch queen, & lightfall combined (They were on sale when I purchased them because they're way too expensive when they're not on sale). Bungie even went out of their way to make sure no one can get the dungeons on sale either because the only way to purchase them is via an in-game purchase with silver the in-game currency which never goes on sale. Complete BS

Complete BS
You keep repeating the same nonsense over and over. The dungeon pass is for it's respective DLC. Witch queen dungeon pass gives access to duality and spire. 2 dungeons. The dungeon pass for lightfall gives access to the newest dungeon from season of the deep and the next dungeon. It's $20 for 2 dungeons. Has been since it's been implemented. A 30 second Google search would solve your ignorance but like numerous other threads you've made you can't seem to help yourself.
Don't bother, he wants Destiny to be like Warframe. He's posted it repeatedly in the past.
The op has done the same thing in other threads about other things that bother them. He or she complains about something that's based on ignorance. When corrected they either ignore it or get this.... say it doesn't matter.

Its not insane.
Imagine not knowing the value of money and just spending it willy nilly without a care in the world...wild For the price of two dungeons you could buy the damn Phantom Liberty dlc for Cyberpunk 2077 and THAT has way more content for way longer playtime than two measly tiny dungeons that are practically glorified strike missions.
Except i do know the value of money. Its £80 anually which is easy to save for over a year.
You clearly didn't understand, i didn't ask you if you knew the price, i said you clearly don't value money more than you should and spend it freely on things that are not worth it's price Do you buy gas when it's higher than normal? What about food, dya buy meat at higher than normal price or wait until it's on discount? If you spend whatever whenever then you're exactly the problem and this is why bungie continues to push more and more invasive predatory monetisation (be it dlc, eververse, etc)

They give more than just that, and just because they gave the dungeons exclusive weapons & armor does not justify them separating them from the rest of the DLC. The raids that are included all have unique weapons & armor that can only be obtained in the raid and that comes with the DLC expansion. The dungeon should be included as well and Bungie needs to change this because it's absolute BS that the dungeons are a completely separate purchase and on top of being a completely separate purchase they can only be purchased IN-GAME WITH SILVER!!! THAT'S COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS! Bungie needs to change this and make it so that the dungeons are included with the DLC, or at the very least make them their own separate purchasable DLC expansion that you buy outside of the game with REAL MONEY and not silver.

Im not using dollars. Im using the Great British Pound Sterling. It was £80 for the deluxe lightfall. £40 for standard, £16 for the dungeon £8 for the first season £12 for the second onwards. Thats 40+16+8+12+12+12 which is 100, that means altogether this year is 100GBP which is more expensive than the deluxe edition, removing the £4 from each season (reducing all seasons to the old cost) it would still total £88 which is still more than the deluxe edition. The deluxe edition is cheaper overall.
