Iron Banner Eruption and Exotic bows in the Crucible.
I'd like to discuss Eruption because this game mode is probably the worst of all the iron banner game modes. As in, it punishes you for doing poorly, and also for doing well. I cant tell you how many times well get 2 or 3 of my team including myself that start our eruption timers, and 90% of the time the other team will switch to something like Wishender or Lemonarque and just stay all in one corner together in the back of the map. exotic bows not being special weapons is absolutely absurd because they're so overtuned.
I mean in season 23 a bow (especially the exotics) will do more body shot damage than any sniper except aggressive frame. As a primary weapon. It does more in one shot that every single primary will do in MULTIPLE. They need some work done BIG time. Can anyone in the pvp strike team try and sort this out??

4 通の返信Eruption is better than Rift but not as fun as Zone Control. If you want something to counter bows I suggest a pulse rifle. To buff yourself off of teammate deaths run Vigilance Wing with Aeon Cult gloves, it buffs your pulse rifle stats and gives you faster class ability regeneration.

2 通の返信Leviathans Breath is honestly the one bow I can't stand. I know it is a heavy, so I'll admit that it isn't common in PVP, but in Gambit, are you kidding me? The lack of skill to get a headshot with LB is sad. You can't even counter it, and they aim like 10 feet from your head and it still counts as a headshot. For PVP I honestly think exotic bows are not a problem. There is never a time I have seen Wish Ender and thought "oh here we go". The long draw times and time to aim it and etc for setup is just not worth it. Two body shots takes longer than most weapons TTKs. Headshots aren't very easy in PVP especially on a moving target, very few people can even land them consistently.

If you are having problems with a bow, use the tools you have been given to either remove their cover (area denial) increase your cover while you approach (Stasis is good at this) or push in such a way where you kill them before they can charge there bow. A good counter I have found for bows is Forerunner

Can anyone in the pvp strike team try and sort this out??[/quote] I disagree I think it's a good game I think it needs some tweaks it definitely need more time once you become erupted due to the fact that you've more than likely just wiped out the whole team of the super or something and now they're across the map and by the time you get there there's just not enough time besides that I liked the concept. Once I learned how to play it lol the first time I became erupted I ran at the people thinking I could blow them up with me lmao

Bows generally don't do well. I guess with a few subclasses having an easy potential loop of bodyshot melee then a period of one tap bow can be powerful. Generally with these things folk do it for a while after watching videos on the matter before they realise they were 'doing better' with their previous favourite loadout. Recently it's increasingly shotguns that are getting me (since the shotgun glitch got fixed) I haven't played IB this week tbh. (I don't really like eruption/already gilded the title first week)

It feels way better though. Especially now. Bows are hard to complain about but they just need to be nerfed especially Wishender. Or they can last longer it doesn't really matter to me because eventually people are going to get tired of that style of gameplay all over the place. That much damage, basically infinity aim assist, and unlimited ammo. At least one of those things can be changed on the problematic ones, even if they get something else less auto pilot. Just with the aim assist alone and even with the game working better now bows will still be hitting the paracausal shots where it goes in your stomach and ends up in your face somehow way more than snipers. Or goes past your face then goes back in time and hits a head shot.

A Hand Cannon does more damage in one shot than every other primary weapon of equivalent archetype, minus Bows, but I don't see you saying that's imbalanced. An SMG does less damage per shot than a Scout Rifle and has nowhere near the range, so SMGs must be completely worthless in comparison, right? You can't only pick the numbers that suit your argument. If a team is grouping up and playing well against a team that isn't, they will kill you with just about anything. Three people shooting you at once with a Hand Cannon achieves the same result. Hierarchy of Needs truly is a plague upon Crucible and Leviathan's Breath should be changed from Heavy to Special because it just isn't cutting it with the one-shot bodies right now. Le Monarque just got nerfed, they will not change it again so soon or so drastically. Wish-Ender is the only thing you can make a case against, and its power comes just as much from damage as it does from the ability to see through walls.
