Why cant we get a discount on our expansions we already paid for?
Why should gamers have to pay full price for content we already purchased? I am using my guns on another platform that I bought within an expansion that destiny says I don’t own. How much is enough money for you guys? Are you that insensitive to the struggle people are living through out here in the real world? We’re not all millionaires. If i bought your game on another platform and link my account why do you need to get paid again? How much is Sony,Microsoft,and steam getting per transaction? If you don’t want to take the hit then charge us that only.
Newsflash not all of your customers are corporate millionaires were just middle class. Stop treading on us please.
Seems like the only community you care about is your own…..
I would personally never make the decision to charge someone twice for the same content. Why would you?

3 通の返信You don’t seem to understand how licensing works but more importantly bro… I understand the struggle is real. When I drive my lambo to work some guy had the audacity to park in my reserved spot. And then my maid called in sick so that means I will have to clean up myself when I get home. Then my chef said he couldn’t find the king crab legs I wanted and all they had were standard snow crab legs… can you believe this?

6 通の返信I like music. Some music I like so much that I buy the album on vinyl to listen to at home. I have the same album on cd to listen to in my car and a digital version to listen to through my headphones at work. I should be allowed to have all three formats for a discounted price because the owner of that music should only get their percentage once. Now do you see how much of a stupid take this is?

What an absolutely spoiled, entitled, rotten, mentality of a little brat child you are. You can afford to play on multiple platforms. Beyond just THAT, you have the opportunity of even being able to afford something to play video games on. And you want to talk about your struggles?!?!? Get a grip, grow up and realize just how fortunate any of us are that we can do this at all. I play on all 3 platforms and am fully aware of just how fortunate I have it that I can do stuff like this. You most definitely live in a weird reality.

Why do expansions need to be 100 bucks a pop 🙄 I miss the days of paying 40 bucks a year and getting meaningful content that I could play at my own pace and put down when done to play other games/touch grass... Those were the glory days.

I’m not sure what the % is but my guess is that platform stores keep ~30% of all sales on the digital store. Remember that massive lawsuit that happened with epic when they that tried to bypass the apple app store for in-game purchases? Epic got sick of paying the apple the transaction fees and tried to push them out.

I swapped from ps to pc and i had to rebuy all the dlc and before any mention of cross save was brought up, i had invested so much into pc that all my investment into my ps profile wasn’t worth making that acc my main when enabling cross save. I swapped around the time the forges came out. My point is, you chose to switch. You knew or should have done the research to know that the dlc license was per platform, not account. Thus requiring you to repurchase it all. Yes, it suck but it’s what you sign up for when choosing to make that swap. Also, struggle? You have the ability to swap platforms. If you’re struggling out in the real world and you’re buying game systems or pcs, you got other issues to hash out than a dlc. Edit for clarity: having to rebuy dlc is incredibly stupid and i hate it. I’m not defending it. I’m just saying we all know we have to if we swap systems until Bungie does something about it. Which they won’t cause they love money.

[/quote] Playing video game on multiple platforms is not a struggle people are living through. It is a leisure hobby. You live in a world where people are being ethnically cleansed, others are being bombed in their homes, a lot are trying to not go homeless. What you choosing to turn into a struggle is owning multiple systems and not getting a discount on a video game. Bruh, this is not a struggle. This is a good "problem" to have.

It’s literally not much if at all Bungies fault lol it’s because when you make a purchase you buy the license to use the game on that SPECIFIC platform. Idk why I even bother responding to people who don’t know this already.
