You know what you can do with those shards before they go away right? Stockpile on enhancement cores, glimmer and other materials.

Bungie can take my shards for making this great game. I am sure it is far the greatest good for the greatest number of people.

I can appreciate people being upset over this turn of events (I don't understand it, but I appreciate it), but is it really such a devastating change that it warrants quitting the game altogether, or is it more a culmination of grievances and this is the final straw?
