I'm Out
Wiping out 13k shards. That was my only remaining store of value since every other currency is capped at a stupidly low level. No consideration, nothing. Just wiping it all out. There goes a few thousand hours of legit gameplay, and for what? Because you want us to grind even more? This is not how you get players to engage with your game.
It would be child's play to just convert it out, remove the cap on glimmer and give us the shard value in glimmer. Problem (mostly) solved. Instead they're just gonna sunset the economy on a game that is already struggling to deliver value.
I was already on the fence about Final Shape, now I'm glad I didn't let the shiny exotic convince me to pre-order.

13 通の返信This isn't an airport, you don't need to announce your departure. Also, you're clearly just wanting reasons to whine. If you have that many shards, it means you're not using them. You'd think you'd be happy about a currency you don't use being rewarded. But people like you look for any reason to complain even when it makes no sense.

Many suggest 'stop playing'. I say: 'Stop purchasing and giving them your money'. They don't care if you stop playing after you bought the latest Season, DLC or whatever. They got your money already. But if we all stop making any kind of purchase, I'm sure we'd get their full attention.

I stopped playing last week in middle of a nightfall I’ve beaten probably 100 times. Just can’t do it anymore. Bungie’s war on endgame and their various little manipulations just make me angry, I’m playing the same old -blam!- over and over while they trickle out crap single serving content. New maps, strikes, raids. That’s all I want. They just won’t do it. And at any second they can take things away, nerfing our a shard cap, deleting legendary shards etc. instead of working to make a great game its like their managing a casino.

It wasn’t the egregious and predatory monetization. It wasn’t the cut content. It wasn’t the entire game being broken with servers crashing constantly since Lightfall… No it was the legendary shards you never spent to begin with Give me a break this community is pathetic
