Cause you built it around streamers not for everyone to enjoy. No one and I mean no one who actually plays this game would rather watch this game be played by people who make a career about playing this game vs content that's just do able by regular players

2 通の返信Morakxにより編集済み: 9/2/2023 5:39:19 PMThey started catering more to sweats and top 1 % players because they are done with D2. Games hit a certain point when the devs know that casuals will stop playing. They want to keep the elitists interested in the game for as long as possible to milk the last bit of money out of them throughout the next couple years before they entirely stop providing content. Its clear as ice my guys. If you are a casual, the game is not made for you anymore, you are supposed to quit. The games lifespan is at that point. (I include myself because i rarely play anymore since Bungie doesnt care anymore, why should i.)

xbroggiexにより編集済み: 9/2/2023 8:17:02 PMConsidering Joe Blackburn was reluctant or unwilling to say anything about a reprised raid next year when they always talk up how they will be bringing one back and can't even answer a basic question of "will there be more expansions"... I think that speaks volumes to where the game is going. They aren't vaulting content anymore yet adding more and more breaks this games code because Bungie for some odd reason tried making a decade long MMO on the engine equivalent of some spaghetti sticks, chewing gum and prayers. The fact that Joe's little 'personal' video came out not so soon after a hype trailer for The Final Shape makes his words not very trustworthy and all he promised in the end was 1 armour set and maybe a map pack next year for PvP which has an indeterminate amount of maps. I personally doubt this game is really going anywhere after TFS just from what Bungie and Joe Blackburn have said in interviews. (The fact the first thing we see when we enter the Traveller in TFS is the old tower is so stupid and pandering to veteran players its sad also only 7 actual campaign missions, they've gone from being scared of overdelivering to just underdelivering)

8 通の返信This game WAS one of the best games out there. Now it is just a joke. Way to little content every season. Day one raids usaly is for streamers og people with 5000 raid clears. Cant ever say crota yday was world 1st,for saltagreppos team it got to be a sour taste in theyr mouth toknow that they are not the REAL world 1st.

I don't know what to tell you. I just left an Alter where the other two players had no idea what to do and I was trying to complete a robust offering with the other two just shooting adds. They literally couldn't even get tributes and dunk them. You can't make the game easy enough for fools like that. All they do is screw up matchmaking.

2 通の返信The main reason why I hate Bungie (I have to correct that Destiny as a game, just can be amazing), but this game's main problem is incompetent and money hungry developers. So the reason I haven't moved destiny since Lightfall is because (and why I think the game is dying) it's a constant "give and take mentality". I can't stand this "game-model" anymore, where the whole system is created in order to achieve some gear, which later becomes useless, your time and effort are simply destroyed, and you have to start again from the beginning with a new gear, which is again nerf to the ground, and again from the beginning. It's just extremely tiring. You don't play, you work. And such a model is created precisely by Bungie. I'm just sick of it. Full of other games that value your gear and your time

2 通の返信I know why this game died. At least for me. It died because Bungie was never ambitious enough with their game. They’ve done the minimal for several years. They cut corners. They deliver a half-a**ed story. They have no respect for their players. Joe Blackburn is desperately trying to toss water out of a sinking ship. So, I largely quit. I never bought Lightfall. Never bought the seasons following. Some times I’ll pop in for a friend, but… that’s the pitiful extent of my activity these days. Anyway, my thoughts and perspective.

9 通の返信No, it's dead because of the fact that they have people running this project that has no experience, and they hire people who have no experience in designing a game. All they are doing is working off the original Bungie's work, but they doing a horrible job at it because everything that made what Destiny was and could be was literally ripped out of this game just use you guys to fund their other projects. Think I'm joking, go look up Luke Smith's work history before he was hired on. This is who was directing D2 and why the game is in the very poor state it is in. The damage done to this game is actually scary to even think that they are designing other games, knowing almost every single original Bunge dev that designed Halo is gone. Their streamer buddies have been helping them ruin this game for years because they only care about their wallets.

Perfect example of Devs catering to the 1% is look at what they have done with Crota.. Previously the Eidolon Ally and Husk of the Pit weapons were world drops for everyone, now the pander to the 1% and lock up these weapons and quest behind a raid completion

2 通の返信I am playing D2 in small doses , and just can't anymore with the drip fed content , I am having a blast in Cyberpunk, a deep gripping emotional story , insane and varied rarities of loot(including a gun that talks to you, like Super Good Advice was supposed to), and they have some great feeling pistols and handcannons , and the quickhacking makes you feel like a god, and it's getting a huge free overhaul in 26 Days, making something good even better But D2 is still thriving and still making Bungie millions , you mad ? , there is a reason the likes of Division,Anthem, Halo Infinite, Diablo 4 etc tried and failed to copy Bungies success , we are just burnt out on it cause we have played it for 10 years, but you have to give credit where it's due

4 通の返信Games not dying. The same talking heads saying the same nonsense for years. Lol anyone remember the bashing here through Forsaken and Witch Queen? It’s so absurd to read grown men having meltdowns over a video game. Yesterdays dying numbers 😂 https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2

Wrong. Bungie does not have the time to monitor every 2 bit Streamer or You Tuber. Most of the feedback about the game comes from these forums. The thing is most streamers and Tubers read these forums and "go with the flow" to try and get more views. It is you watching them and putting them to blame when their "veiw" seems to be the "Community" view and there are changes because of it.

3 通の返信This game has been catered towards casuals, getting easier and easier for a while now. The contest raids take up 4 days of the year for the best to test themselves, that’s it. Dam even RoN was catered towards casuals and was pretty poorly received by that raiding community. Stop trying to ruin the ‘1%’ of the year where the top ‘1%’ get to challenge themselves.

1 返信The is far from dying ! Destiny will keep rolling regardless . Bungie tried to please everyone which is impossible and now we have the game all over the place 🤷🏼♂️
