To echo many of the other comments, Deep Stone Crypt and Vault of Glass are your best bets. They have a couple of loadout requirements, but they're nothing you won't be able to get. When you're starting out, make it clear that you haven't done them and need to be taught, but also don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand something. It's better to ask and be corrected, than to make the same mistake over and over. I would also highly suggest asking to do a role with some responsibility and being active in the mechanics. It's very easy to trap yourself in only killing enemies, and that's no way to build up confidence or familiarity with the Raid.

Root of nightmares is probably the most beginner friendly raid, but could go Vault of Glass it was many people's first raid.

Vog you can carry 2 or 3 players if needed.

DSC, most teams can carry 2 first timers through very easily.

DSC - its fun, easy and most of the weapons are really good with the right roll then go VoG, LW, KF, RoN, then Vow - save Vow till last the 26 symbols throw most for a loop though the actual end boss fight is probably one of the easiest

Developing muscle memory as soon as you can will make any raid enjoyable. Before and after reading the comments. Vault of Glass definitely is easy when your hand is held. Gatekeeper for instance is not a first-time-raider friendly encounter, being put on a plate is not teaching someone how to do the encounter, [i]Vow of the Disciple is just a really good raid with one focused mechanic throughout the raid. If you aren’t ad clear, it genuinely informative to replay.[/i] When you have a good rocket and linear fusion I would tackle Kings Fall. There are four boss encounters in a row. Last wish is fairly easy and has very few mechanics that are challenging, but not a first raid recommendation. Deep stone is cool, but complicated for a first time raider. Also easily prevents new players from interacting with wipe mechanics. Garden is not a raid I’ll recommend to anyone. It will leave a sour taste for raids if it’s your first

First get a team together , if not then i hope you find good people cause some lfg groups can be very annoying but if you really wanna start raiding , i recommend : Garden , vog and last wish ... Most of the people hate garden because they almost never do it but garden is the most beautiful and easy raid of them all , vog is also very easy but it is a d1 raid , just like kingsfall so not original d2 raids and therefore just the same old content that returns so garden and last wish and deep stone crypt are by far the only original d2 raids cause they sunsetted the rest of them. But we are in 2023 where people only play ron and vow so it really depends on if you find people to play with in the first place. The last boss in garden for example just needs communication and it is easy once you know what to do but all raids are like this , if you have like 2 or 3 randoms that don't speak or just don't know what to do in any raid then those people will prob cause a wipe so just tell them what to do , kick them or leave and look for another team that is willing to work together . But nowadays lfg people don't like to raid , they all do it to craft a gun and then be done with it and the only raid weapons you can craft are the ones from ron and vow and last wish and guess what ... People are farming the first encounter of last wish over and over untill they can craft every last wish gun but do the whole raid ? That is too much trouble , back in the day before all this crafting nonsense , you could find people to raid with all the time for any raid so it really depends on if you have enough people to play that raid that you want.

I would say Vault if Glass. Mechanics are pretty easy as long as someone can explain it. It’s pretty much stand on plates, defend, shoot glowing boxes, and damage.

Vault of Glass. Not only is it the OG raid of the Destiny franchise but it’s also one of the simplest and most straightforward so it’s a good jump off point.

I would say Deep Stone its cool and enjoyable I know someone else said vault. It is THEE entry raid but its also kind of boring. Difficulty wise Vault and Deep Stone are on the same level I just think Deep Stone is a cooler raid.
