"Contacting Destiny 2 Servers"
The message is popping up across the bottom of the screen over and over. And when I select a character, it goes to a black screen and my cursor shows "Loading" wheel. Never had this issue before the update.
(Edit:) After getting into the game, I keep getting the Weasel error code.
(Edit Again:) After validating my Steam files trying to get anything to work, I can't even get to the character select screen without getting error code: Centipede.

I am getting the same after the 8/29/23 patch, No change to my network at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified files through steam, cycled my modem and router. I always check all this and think it's a "my end" issue when literally the only thing that changed is they patched the game and it doesn't work for me now until they release a fix.

I have exactly the same problem with a side of random baboon and weasel errors (mostly baboon). It only started with this new season but since then there's not a single time that I don't get all these while playing (trying to play is more accurate). I play on an Xbox Series X.

1 返信Facing the same issue after yesterdays patch. Tried it on PC and Xbox with the same issues, it keeps spamming Contacting Destiny 2 Servers after selecting a character and finally a Weasel error. Hope Bungie can fix this soon. All other online games work perfectly fine.
