While I haven’t bought it yet, I very likely will.
This is the only game that, for me, has stood the test of time and continued to bring me back. It’s far from perfect, but I have yet to find a game that holds me the same way.

I can tell you that I only played destiny for a good while.i was invested. Then I played god of war Ragnarok and realized when we should be getting from a studio. I play destiny because it's a fun way to pass time with friends but they are losing us then trying to lure us back in with old content. It's not sustainable in my eyes.

I leaked god of war because of the level of detail and content which is what I expect when I drop 59.99. When I drop $100 I expect to get more than a repeatable mission, recycled raid, and a terrible exotic weapon.

I obviously obviously spent more time on destiny because of the release dates. I also was game sharing and no longer have access to the god of war. But when I was playing god of war I did not play destiny and my friends couldn't get me to come back. If God of war had free roaming, matchmaking and other similar elements I would have never come back. Heck I would stay just for the 120 fps. It's annoying going back and forth between the two because I'm on console. They should fix that. I mean that's the whole point of these nexgen consoles.

Here's the thing. Fortine which is not a game I will ever play made billions just on skins from a free game. Bungie sold their soul for 3.7 billion. That doesn't seem like success. Whenever I go online I have probably one page of friends which is nothing. When I go on twitch to watch streamers none is above 2k while other games have so many viewers and players active. I just feel like it's going to end like the series heroes. Abruptly and frustratingly.
