If not 2, then they would naturally fit in the strike rotation
They could even have a secret ending to the strike for the seasonal exotic

23 通の返信You don't understand what you asking ... They have new season every 3 month and are already adding a lot every time ... Now you want 2 strikes added at no cost ? Also im sure you realized but these battlegrounds are already structures as strikes .... 2 strike per season with the same team and no cost added would gut the entire seasons activities I'm not gonna say don't add strikes .... But realistically its not something they can do for the current prices and team size ...

20 通の返信I like how they can't be bothered to make new pvp maps because "iT's ToO hArD" but every season they churn out a new garbage seasonal activity that nobody cares about and those are generally huge compared to pvp maps. Like just imagine how good the game would be if instead of seasonal nonsense we just got a new pvp map and a new strike evert single season.

So what replaces the seasonal activity? People complain about having to run core activities to progress seasonal objectives, making it so they have to do the same Strike every time wouldn't go well. How do you fit the seasonal story around it? When players are already saying that seasons feel dead, replacing the core activity with even less stuff isn't going to fix anything. I'd like to see new Strikes more often than once a year, but this isn't the way to do it.

4 通の返信If they did, people would start saying we need more horde modes every season instead of strikes.

BabyMoonArtにより編集済み: 8/14/2023 4:35:28 AMHave the vanguard ops playlist split by year. Year 1 would be Base D2, Curse Of Osiris, and Warmind, Year 2 would be Forsaken and its seasons, year 3 would be Shadowkeep and its seasons, and so on.

At this point just put all the strikes that were taken out of the game back in rotation. I had a lot more enjoyment running those than the same ones we’ve had lately including the battlegrounds. If Bungo is too lazy or don’t want to spend money just give us back what we’ve paid for.

1 返信Even if they return Strikes they initially pulled from D2 or the ones still in D1, I feel that would make the community happier than Battlegrounds we just played for a year.

I’d agree but not at the cost of a main seasonal activity. If we got one this season instead of Salvage that would be fine, but I think there needs to be 1 real substantial seasonal activity per season. No offense but the strike playlist is stale and 1 new strike each season wouldn’t do much. I don’t mind them adding Battlegrounds to the strike playlist, but they need to be appropriately balanced for strikes (the ones we’ve gotten so far haven’t) - remove endless spawns, etc. I’d love a new strike each season, but I’d rather have a fun and not bug-filled seasonal activity.

3 通の返信Deep Dive was, just my opinion, actually really good, and a huge missed opportunity too for Bungie. New Strikes should be standard, I agree. The bigger issue though is the reason to play Strikes. Genuine Strike-specific loot was huge in the past for that playlist, where did it go?

3 通の返信
If not 2, then they would naturally fit in the strike rotation They could even have a secret ending to the strike for the seasonal exotic
We got two seasonal activities this season. Deep dive was a good foundation for something new. Having a fully fleshed out rogue lite would be cool. Salvage in the other hand is complete garbage. Waste of development time and resources. A throw away activity. Development time could have been used for anything else and it would have been better.

13 通の返信I’m not opposed to having new strikes, but the battlegrounds for GMs are actually pretty awesome

Sarus-Xにより編集済み: 8/13/2023 6:37:06 PMI think the hoard mode should be unique to the 6-man seasonal activities. Those are great where they are, but BGs, on the other hand, are boring and feel lazy copy & pastes with just new voice text and visuals. The objectives work in a similar manner as well. You run through an army of enemies, do a time-gated sequence, then fight a boss. Your idea for a secret ending is great, as it is secrets like that that make the community happy. We love finding secrets. It's sad that Bungie doesn't like doing them anymore because they have unrealistic expectations from today's society. They think that D2's perfect stats could only exist in a utopia, but that can't be further from the truth.
