I just wish Exotics had a universal kill count, I am going to lose the 50k kills with my original DMT , I was rocking Subsistence before it was cool and had a reload penalty

You don't HAVE to regrind anything. Your old weapons will still work.

Why shouldn't they? It's far easier and cheaper then giving us new stuff to play with..... More! for Less! equals profit! everything else is just hot air to them.

I wouldn't mind doing again older missions, specially Zero Hour. Having those back with craftable exotics could also mean new perk for those guns and they said they're getting new perks. Imagine some stupid crazy perk combos like rapid hit on Outbreak or kinetic tremors on Hawkmoon. I see that we vets struggled to get those things in the first place, but they also need to give a reason to play those missions back, nostalgia besides. Gotta see how it runs out.
