4 通の返信I'll upvote just because Bungie needs to see how it's effecting/affecting it's numbers. Regardless of if a ninja or a dev who actually combs the forums will pop up to check. The concept of half baked and rehashed for maximum profit isn't new. Content is too hard isn't new. We were just hoping for better. And it isn't. So. Hopefully this post makes thousands and thousands of thumbs hit the upvote. Good luck m8 🍻

6 通の返信This not the same Bungie that brought us Halo and Destiny. Can we agree that the talent and leadership is just not there? They can no longer bring balance, quality or health to the game. The state of the game is a direct reflection of the lack of talent and leadership at Bungie. I thought Joe would deliver great content but nope, the game is progressively getting worse.

They said thier goal before profit was to build trust, they should fulfill their promise of providing the community with the armor they said they would. How can we trust them if they don't keep their word? Trust = Commitment /Preorders That being said, it's likely thier is a large portion of resources going into development of the new saga. They keep mentioning "The latest version of Destiny." What I believe this means is the entire Light & Darkness saga will be a separate download from the new saga, making it almost two separate games. The game aims to convert free-to-play users into paying customers, but with the game's increasing size, the value proposition for new players diminishes. Introducing a new saga would likely double the size of the game, and I would "guess" uncoupling some of the code from the two sagas could remove at least some of the current complications & limitations, opening up new creative opportunities for player & developer. It's impressive to see how fluid strand works, it was hard to imagine it functioning this well in a game as old & big as Destiny 2 yet it does work well. So, what could they do with a little more room to breathe. Hope they handle whatever this is well, and they fulfill thier promises.

1 返信People usually get fired or resigned when community backlash is this severe. I can’t believe these fools still have jobs. Definitely glad I’m not in their positions because they should be having anxiety attacks, I don’t know how they sleep at night.

Bungie acting surprised that people stopped playing a game mode that got shafted with nothing new added to it, nooo really? Bungie blaming players for not using new armor sets because they were ugly as sin and thats why they are not adding more.. buuut if you go to eververse and spend MONEY you can find new sets. Bungie making it sound like 4 people are working on this game. Nothing about paywalls meaning more of that is coming. I can appreciate Vanguard medals, but that is hardly a game-changer (haha) and frankly it's quite insulting that is what they come up with. That and pathfinder. I wonder if the people lack imagination and what the heck they are doing over there. Working on overly complicated exotic quests, but how many people does one exotic quest require? Too many if they cant have some people working on pvp content.

7 通の返信I’m just wondering where the sticker shock comes from… It is not like we all did not know… They just finally said it out loud. It has been four years since bungie became contractually obligated to make another game and split from activision. They were contemplating pulling the plug on destiny, But making money is far better than making no money at all. They came up with a play loop that they could crunch their schedule with while making a new game and this live service game at the same time. This is not a defense for bungie. This has been the reality. After three years and marathon nearing its last year of development… Bungie is not going to change course. Bungie is just going to focus on the seasons, dlc and shake up the sandbox. As they have been doing consistently for multiple years.

1 返信So tone-deaf for a 2 billion dollar company saying; delivering 2 maps a year, and one armor set for the ritual activities, is too hard besides the content that we are doing.

6 通の返信I think it was an absolute honest view into the mind of the person responsible for the direction of the game. That is why I didn't purchase this year but clearly since they had record sales most must think this sort of thing is fine.
