But only IF you have all 3 characters mirrored (quests & armor grabbed from Eva)

I actually picked up the quest on all characters during the weekly reset last week, and I actually think it's impossible to complete all 3 at the same time since they're character specific and all armor upgrades are account based. Only thing I could've done differently is not pick up the quest at all on my other 2 characters, but there's no way I could've known this would be an issue

Didn't you. It's the same system as last year, exact same cross-character syncing, this isn't bungies fault. If you weren't on the same quest step on all 3 characters w/ the event armor in their inventories after finishing up with Eva, that's not their fault. I've had no issues with my grinding because i knew exactly how it works, if you aren't on the same page across all characters then you won't get the progress mirrored, simple as that. It's always been like this, even as far back as getting the glows unlocked on the old Light emanation set (best set ever) that had shared progress IF you had the final upgraded set on all 3 characters before doing challenges for glows.

You get the armor on all characters the moment you pick up the quest which I stated I did at the beginning of the week. Look bud, you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Which is fine, but this conversation is unproductive

Which is fine, but this conversation is unproductive[/quote] No you don't, you need to speak to Eva and get your armor on each character (i literally had to do that on the day the event started before i started playing the event to get ashes and kindling through challenges), you're the one who has no idea what he's talking about. Your issue is that you fully upgraded your armor on one, swapped to another then had the quest bug out on you rather than get the quest on all 3, do what Eva says on all 3, be on the same quest step on all 3 BEFORE you even bother burning your kindling away, how are people still having issues with something that works the same as last year Now if you only got your glows unlocked for your Titan and Warlock you WILL NOT have any kindling for a Hunter, that could've been avoided.

Yeah the quest isn't just in your inventory bud, but I'm definitely done with this convo because you're clearly an off person. Like trying to hound me about what you think I should've done comes off more like "How dare you not account for Bungie oversights", and it's weird that you kept the same energy the whole time too.

Like trying to hound me about what you think I should've done comes off more like "How dare you not account for Bungie oversights", and it's weird that you kept the same energy the whole time too.[/quote] Yeah I'm going to "hound" you for something you could've avoided, if you're going to do a quest start to finish + upgrade the armor for the glows don't complain to bungie it's then afterwards pestering you on another class to do something with a currency you no longer have because you used it all and it didn't apply to your other class sets as well, completing the quest across all 3 characters. You probably thought you'd not have to do the opening quest steps on your other characters and just get the glows across all 3 by just doing the leg work on one character not thinking that bungie wouldn't require you to at least see Eva, wear the armor, see Eva again, do one round of EAZ and getting the first bits done until it tells you to use kindling (but not doing it.) on each character. Don't blame bungie, they didn't intend people to upgrade one character then decide "oh hey.. Yknow what, I'm gonna go do my others AFTER i did my first"

Don’t be a horses -blam!-. This is affecting a majority of the players. No one knows what the quest steps are until they pop up. A majority of the people went ahead and got the kindling and inserted it. Also when you do it on one character It counts on all characters. Of course people are going to insert their small kindling first. The quest steps are screwed up

The quest steps are screwed up[/quote] No they ain't, the quest is account based, but the steps were made with the intention that people would only be using one character, that's what bungie intended to quest to be like How are people still having issues with this? It's the SAME system as last year, if you apply kindling it'll ONLY also apply to other characters IF you have the armor on them, just like the quest steps work as well. [b]If you don't pick up the quest + armor set on all your characters (be it a 2nd or even a 3rd) BEFORE starting to burn your finite amount of kindling that isn't bungies fault.[/b]
