I'm done after Final Shape. No new enemy faction.
Bungie said in a podcast that after Final Shape is that the Vex are the next big threat. Same old boring robots. No thanks. Bare minimum effort as always. Pathetic. If you still want to play it after Final Shape, have fun, don't let me stop you.

Seriously, you won’t see me after the next expansion. 2017: D2? No way, you took all my stuff I’m outta here. 2018: I am seriously done with this game and not buying the next expansion. 2019: I’m uninstalling this game, goodbye. 2020: I haven’t been on Destiny for a while but now I’m back, what’s new? 2021: There’s no way I’m giving this company any more money. 2022: How come the expansion cost so much. 2023: That expansion was crap, there’s no way I’m buying The Final Shape. 2024: Welcome back.

4 通の返信Whilst I'd love a new enemy race if they did add 1 it'll be shoehorned in with 10yrs of lore and build up anything new just wouldn't make sense.

4 通の返信Making a new enemy faction after Final shape is bad story telling. The needs to rap up the story of enemy factions We already have. We never got a major Vex expansion. It's their time to shine.

1 返信How intimidating do you think you're being by this statement. You're committed to buying their products for another year - meaning Bungie has guaranteed revenue & time to sell you on their next year(s) products for a whole year. I don't think this user understands how corporations work.

Olórinにより編集済み: 7/11/2023 11:12:32 PMIm just gunna wait until it goes on sale, theres a lot of games out this year and next, i want to (and will) still play Destiny but i think upcoming games are going to keep me occupied for a while this year and onwards. I dont want to quit D2, i just think its rather boring now, regardless of the hype they attempt to generate for the next expansion. Like with other games im excited to play and experience, with the current state of D2 however, the biggest reason i come back is because I dont wanna miss out on time-gated items.

4 通の返信I’m surprised that another faction hasn’t been fused to a Vex yet since it is a thing. Asher had a Vex arm and I think leg. You figure Fallen would try splicing Vex limbs onto themselves out of curiosity.

This doesn't bother me at all. There are so many other reasons I don't play anymore, and so many reasons I've decided I won't give them any more of my money. Vex being the "big bad" is so very low on my list of grievances.

1 返信After final shape a lot of people will keep playing ….Bungie will put zero effort into the game after final shape . So vex will fill a bit of time easy money . Bungie can put anything out and people will accept it 🤷🏼♂️
