Comp is probably the roughest playlist we have. It is really brutal. The points loss and gain just makes absolutely no sense in any way. I make it to adept 1 and then get bumped all the way back to the beginning g of 2. It’s a shitshow. Trials is better. Really.

Competitive anything has the potential to be toxic, if you screw up in KWTD Raids, its going to get mighty toxic for you

1st of all not to be mean but its only a yr . Bro iv been playing this game forever now and i still learn things in pvp . After one yr your are just starting to get your feet wet . At my lvl of play i get nothing but stacks of arc titans .thats what pvp looks like in high end play . Its the cheesiest of the cheese and stacks of one click wins. You literally have to play the meta or u will lose . The leaving of the matches and the lag outs i just take that as they vome because yhe reality is they are going to happen and alot . I myself leave matches alot if my team is subpar and by the 2nd round if i dont see a possible win im out . I wait to long in q to b matched with scrubs that dont belong in the same play list as i do . And thats not me saying bad pkayers shouldnt play . No thats me saying bad players should be teamed with like players . I will never understand this team balance thing . They take one ringer and 2 scrubs and thats team balance . And that would work except u have premades running around . I feel like at this point the only real way to get team balance is to stop stacks from joining pvp make everyone a solo . Because a stack of good pvpers aginst a matchmades will always win. And how is that remotely fair vecause at that point its not about skill its about team comp and communication which a match made isnt using . Ik alot of people out there will say destiny isnt designed for that .i know im just pointing out that with how things are currently the only real answer is all soloes. The other to point out here is the fact that bunggie is not cureently penelozing people for leaving matches . Trust and believe that is intentional and id assume its because of the state of the servers and if there is no penalties for leaving then people are going to leave . Myself inclueded bevaus efrankly im sicl and tired of trying to carry people that have no brain for this games pvp. And honestly thats me being nice about it .

Salt detected, I get tbagged everyday and I always win the last tbag after everymatch. In fact, I am a day 1 soulsborne player who does pvp everyday but when I stepped foot to the crucible I felt unimaginable glory, its so good even though I am trash, 1000x better than souls pvp.

Just play Trials and Elimination. Comp is a joke.

I thought Bungie protected you from point losses in the case of someone lagging out, but I would totally understand if they didn't to avoid the hassle. Just look at the scenarios I came up with in about a minute of brainstorming. What if your teammate leaves on Round 2 right before the enemy wins? Should you lose points? What about if they leave after Round 1? What if you 2v3 and win? Should the other team lose points? Or should you gain more points? If 2v3ing means that I'll never lose points, why would you ever want anything other than a 2v3? What if both teams lose a player, and it's 2v2? Do you lose points? What if your teammate lags out but is able to rejoin? Lose points? What if a fireteam of 3 loses a player? What to prevent someone from intentionally leaving games to help their teammates? What if a fireteam of 2 loses a player? Do the point losses work differently for the player that was in the fireteam and the player that wasn't in the fireteam?

PvP and PvE are both toxic with elitism.
