Please dear god turn off Threaded Spike catch when grappling
I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely infuriating it is to catch the threaded spike melee on Hunter when going in to perform a grapple melee.
I am well aware that it was supposedly "tuned down" with the start of the season, but it literally shouldn't exist AT ALL when performing a grapple. EVER!
The piss-ant level of melee energy I'm going to get back from catching it (when I can just as easily utilize gambler's dodge to just refund it) is NEVER WORTH losing the power of the grapple melee. NEVER!!
Neat idea, but obviously never tested in real-world gameplay. It has cost me a half-dozen times in crucible and it just needs to stop!
I find it very frustrating lol. I thought it was a key bond issue but it’s clearly not. Just a design flaw. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t only happen when catching but when you try and grapple melee it’ll throw the dart instead.
